Wow, one of my all time favorite comedians even if he is deceased Thanks for sharing...oh yeah, #11 probably should be discussed with all "would be grooms" what do they say, a happy wife = a happy life Thanks for sharing
Thank you for your good wishes for Earl and I. Yummy leftover Ham, we almost had the same, but my kitchen's "under construction" big time, so no such luck. You're right, be careful about the food being left unrefrigerated for too long...take care and enjoy your New Year
Woohoo... glad Jimboy's coming to see you. Hope you two are as happy as Earl and I are Eight children What a beautiful family that must be. No Christmas leftovers in your frig Make lots of memories and keep us in CS up-to-date on all the details
Best Christmas I can remember Earl and I have had a Blast I believe by the end of this 10 days, we will really know where this relationship is going Oh, and by the way, Earl makes a cuteeee Santa in his little ***** Everybody Share, I had to come back to work and leave Earl snoozing... Love you Sugar He making Dinner for when I get home from work tonight...a girl might get spoilt right quick here
Oh, you're so cute here So I won't miss my ex ever again, I'm going to start going to the shooting range too...perhaps if I ever have another ex...I'll never miss him after the first shot Thanks for the idea
Maybe no impact for someone who doesn't have the heart that this man does...but you're wrong for expressing your opinion in such a manner Clearly you don't have what it takes to understand Perhaps you would never get it
By no Means are you showing a wussy side... Instead I for one respect you all the more for being a caring gentle man who mourned the loss of his family.. I am there with you I had to mourn the end of my family after almost 26 years of both his and my lives...how sad, had brutlly sad but time has healed both my heart and my self esteem, and I've come to Love again I hope that you too will find someone who will appreciate your tender heart..cause it's rare that a gentleman would share how much his divorce hurt him...You're Special just the way your are...Much Love, Laughter and Happiness to you
Thanks for sharing...January 28th isn't too bad either...my birthday...I'm going to see what exciting is happening around my town on that evening, but I wanted a special one-on-one memory that he could place in his heart which he could replay often as we are not able to see each other very often. Thought all these playful, lovable CS folks could share a memory or two.
As you all know by now Earl's coming in for 10 days to spend Christmas and New Year's evening with me. I want to make especially New Year's evening Really Special for us...so share some great ideas or experiences you've had..perhaps I can try several of your ideas out on Earl Shooo...don't give him any hints so I can Really Surprise him
Hey, I'll animal magnetise them floosies trying to take my man Bring 'em on over here, I'll show them how to go and meet their "maker" real quick Hey, Becca...let me borrow that big stick you were going to use on...
Mitchell....Excellent approach for both the Gentleman and the Lady No rejection on his part, and no obligation on her part. She can come knowing it's a friendly chat, and he can enjoy knowing he can offer to pay or they can go dutch, and everybody's can let their guards down some...Great Idea Smooth
Yes Ma'am, I sure do...in only seven more days he will be here in NC, and I'm thinking of kidnapping him, just got to get his work's telephone number so I can call him in sick for at least the next 100 years....
I'm so sorry for you...I understand the distance problem way too well Give him some time, and let him think about things. In the meantime, heal yourself with a gentle patience to let your heart feel love from others in your life...and that includes your CS family...we're here for you
Poetic Justice with a God who obviously has a "sense of humor." Or another way to look at it is..be very careful what you ask for you just might get it Only thing missing was he didn't get to enjoy her monthly aggrivation hey, God, this man needs to run through this learning opportunity again..just so he can Really get a taste of what it's like to be a woman
What a Precious Man, my Earl is When I sprung this on him last week as something I wanted to do, and would he mind joining me, I could tell he might have hesitated, but agreed cause he's the best ever I am looking forward to helping some others who are much less fortunate than either Earl or I for this holiday season I truly do believe it is much better to "Give than to Receive" Thank you Earl for being my HERO!!
Yeah...10 days with my Honeybun He needs to hurry soon, his list of Honeydo's is growing...actually it's our Honeydo's list that is growning...Earl knows I'm a very hard working Lady..and he knows I have much to accomplish so I can hopefully begin a new career sometime within the next 6 months or so. Love you Earl for being so supportive...Hurry on down South..not getting any warmer in NH right now.
Do people use the words X-Mas for the word Christmas? Just because you use the word Christmas does not label you a religious fanatic or a holy-roller, Bible Thumper by any means. Most of us on CS are towards or past middle age, and all the years of grade school, etc...it was always called Christmas. Why now at this time in our lives do we feel the need to be politically correct with our verbage about this age old holiday. This holiday for is very special for me, but I don't consider anyone and everyone a Bible Thumper just because you call this holiday the same name it's been called for many years. Whew, thanks for letting me get that off my chest
Still new in my relationship with my NH feller, but the interests we share such as camping and walking onthe beach I believe have brought us closer. We both have at least one of our deceased father's guns, which are valuable to us. He likes to read and so do I, diffent types of books, but at least he's not a couch potato, maybe a computer potato, but not someone who sits around watching the "tube" all the time. He and I also seem to enjoy nature, birds, and such together. I'm sure there's lots more to come. So yes, sharing interests I believe builds the threads that bind a relationship for the years that lie ahead for any couple trying to make a go of it.
Beam him Scotty...I'm standing in the transport room ready to receive him....pieces, particles, and atoms...all of it, no matter what shape he shows up in...never know with this modern technology what is being beamed in...whether it'll take its original shape or personality again...saw that happen a couple of times on Star Trek...
Well we all live in America, so we can all express our own values, morals and opinions about things...as I respect that option for everyone..I will only say, Marriage brings much more to a lifetime relationship that "shacking up" ever will. It is a different level of committment and should be appreciated as such I was married for 25+ years the first time, and if I ever want to spend my life exclusively with someone again, it will be worth making a committment of vows in the sight of God and man. Nothing that my divorce put me through could change that sense of value for me Just a southern girl's idea of why marriage adds to a lifetime relationship
Heroine here Would rescue you Relates to the Good Samariatan story in the Bible...couldn't just leave you lying for the buzzards..besides everyone on CS would miss ya
RE: Red Skeltons' recipe for the perfect marriage!!
