Captain Morgan Tears

Captain Morgan tears. She's cried them for thirty one years. I've listened that long. Yet she, the very next day reappears alert, aware and strong. Without a mention of worry or care.

Everything goes as normal. Until time for rum and coke. And to have a little weed to smoke. Soon the fun turns into anger that she's held in. Then, once again rain down the Captain Morgan tears. She begins to share all the emotional pain that now are making her a little insane.

I've advised her to tell Captain Morgan goodbye. Let him be the one to cry. I seriously worry. She tells me yet another lie. Will not admit she has a problem. When it's so apparent to me. More than anything I want to see her truly happy.

My heart goes out to her time and time again. I have always tried to be her best friend. She needs to put this pain to an end. For her I have fears. When she does, there will be no more Captain Morgan tears.

My Cat Snores!

To hear my cat snore make me lol until I am rolling on the floor. The photos shake off my walls and neighbors beat down my door. They wonder as I what's she doing that for? Some are lol too while others stay a little sore.

She's my mama cat sweet, dear, loving and fat. A rescue senior at that. She is signed up for AARP and when she sneezes she has to run to pee. It's all good for 103.

By tomorrow she will start talking in tongues, sleep walking and stalking me for fun. Oh, I know she's not all bad. Without her snore life would be such a bore. Never had a cat that could snore so loud. Purrrrhapes she is deaf and doesn't hear how loud? But of herself I'm sure she is proud!

" Baby It's Cold Outside"

Baby It's Cold Outside. Wish I had a place to hide. Somewhere warm inside. These signal digit temperatures are too cold for me. Under a blankie all cuddled in a ball is what you'll find when you come to call. Not doing much cause Baby It's Cold Outside. No, I don't dare to go out anywhere.

It's too cold for children to play as they beg to ride their sleigh. Instead they drive you crazy. Inside and in the way of all you had planned to do. Still, everyone loves a snow day. No school makes the kids say, how cool.

Be thankful for food and a warm home. Stay safe if you have to roam. Hopes are set for these cold days to pass. Then we will not be thinking that Baby It's Cold Outside. Soon it will be warmer weather at last.

The Babe

Church bells were ringing.
Birds flew by singing.
The sun was bright.
Long had been the night.
A celebration of life.
All was perfectly right.

The precious babe was carried in.
To the place where one is forgiven.
Parents aglow following what they know.
Baptism of a new life was the show.

Mother and Father stood up proud.
And the newborn cried aloud.
Joy was the sound of the crowd.
As they lovingly gathered around.

The babe made happiness for one and all.
Many took time to hold the babe and sit.
What a Blessing to be baptized by the Father,
Son and Holy Spirit.

it

I don't get it.
Sadly, I must forget it.
Forgive that's how I live it.
Really cared about it.
Tried to listen to much of it.
Part of me now hates it.
Feel so stupid because of it.
Fell for all of it.

Monsters Under The Bed

Going to sleep lately is something that I dread. Come to find out there are monsters under the bed. At first I thought it was all in my head. Until one of them ask for water and a slice of bread! Oh, dear don't know what I should do. I mean what if it happened to you?

One is green the other yellow I think one could be a nice bed fellow. I don't care. I just wish someone would take them elsewhere. They can be scary when making sounds and whisper. I believe they may have a younger sister. I try to be polite by calling them Mr. As I tell them goodnight. But no way will I turn off the light. I'm afraid they just may bite.

There are monsters under the bed. I tell my friends but they don't believe a word that I said. I call others on the phone asking how do I find them a new home? I can only pray that soon they will go outside to play. Then, I'll change my locks on my door and there will no monsters under the bed anymore!

Mornings

Morning stillness all around. No one has yet to arise or touch their feet upon the ground. The clock slowly ticks while my heart gently pounds. Early mornings begin with such peaceful sounds.

Snowy weather has taken a lift. Revealing to all earth's beautiful gift. The sun is now rising. I enjoy taking in the view. It is breathtaking, refreshing and new. Another blest day for me and you.

LAUGHTER

Laughter it's what we are all after. To laugh until our cheek bones ache and we're doubled in half. When was the last time you had such a good laugh?

Laughter is the best medicine they say. So put it in your pocket. You'll have it on the go when you've had a bad day. Laughing until tears of joy run down your face. It can be found at anytime or place.

Laughter is good for the soul and heart. So, come on lets all start. Laughing, share with a friend. Once you begin you'll never wish for it to end.

sister miss her

I awake with demons inside my head whispering of how I'd be better off dead. They stir feelings hidden for many years. Once again I am buried in an ocean of my own tears. Another sad holiday is what I dread. Life's too short is what they said. Not short enough for me. I look back only to find illness and misery.

Sweet sister miss her. She is whom I long to touch. To hear her laughter through out the day as her blonde curls the wind tosses while we play and sway.

My loving sister lives in a better place. Yet I never stop seeing her innocent baby face. If only I could have taken her place. Seems like the holidays get more lonely during the passing years. I pretend to be strong while holding back my tears.

Some days the pain is almost too much to take. Losing her must have been a mistake. Oh, I pray to one day stop the heartache.
