Parisian Christmas

Parisian Christmas

The Christmas lights blaze up on the Champs Elysees

All the nightly glitter and twinkles following beautiful days

Amid the calamity of so many shopping in wild throngs

Through the cool air play all your favorite Christmas songs

Happy people sitting in cafes along the winding street

All scurrying about for those gifts on fast moving feet

Getting dizzy from the spinning lights of the Ferris Wheel

Toasting to each other and getting into that holiday feel

Oh what joys of all those wondrous Parisian sights

A sip of wine here and there enchanting the nights

Your head all a whirl living life the in the Parisian ways

When the Christmas lights blaze up on Champs Elysees

The Rivers Run

The Rivers Run

Here at the sea where sun swept rivers go to sleep

Dropping the cool waters off into the oceans deep

In a bay she doses, her head in her lovers lap for a sweet sleep

Be quiet and gentle and awaken her not

She has traveled across the land so very far

Seeking to find her rest where the marshes are

Dashing and splashing around the last sand bar

Finding her peace now here in this spot

She has spent many a noisy sunlit morn

On her way rushing past the fields of corn

Through the dark and cold, under the bridges so forlorn

Branching off here and there watering the springs

Traveling as we sleep through the nights lonely veil

Ever seeking the mornings first light so pale

Hearing all the creatures of darkness rail

For all coming with the life she brings

Moving forward yearning for that long awaited rest

In times of rain she rises far above her crest

Ever moving and flowing her long path west

Cutting through the valleys past the hills of the land

Picking up refreshment from each new stream her gain

Poring out onto the vastness of the wide plain

Always and forever collecting up the rain

To find her rest with the ocean at hand

There to finally find her rest forevermore

Where the waves break upon the sandy shore

Awaiting the showers to rip and flow once more

Over and over until when at the end she may cease

Dropping off into the blue of the oceans wake

From night to morning with never a break

Always on her appointed course with never a mistake

Till at long last she finds her long awaited peace

Love Goddess Of The Night

Love Goddess Of The Night

Love Goddess of the night hear my plea

For I have suffered, oh please set me free

Your magic can make my existence whole

Dare I call upon thee to fulfill your roll

To bless this lonely mortal body please

Would you hearken and loneliness seize

By your leave to ease my sorrowful cries

When you lift your finger to dry my eyes

Love Goddess of the night send your healing

Allow your servant a wonderful feeling

For to your calls I have dutifully heeded

Now bestow unto me that which is needed

Place your spell upon this woeful mortal shell

Say but a yes and then cast your love spell

Fill my lowly heart with a mystical love song

By your loving touch this soul will remain strong

Love Goddess of the night hear my pleading cry

I'm turning to your tender mercy for one last try

I begged for eternity and I walk the night alone

Why have I been born and left as cold as a stone

Never from the innocent for there I shall not take

These haunting dreams a terrible plague they make

Yet each day I suffer again walking into the light

The pain I endure just to survive the cold night

The agony never ceases becoming my battle song

Love Goddess of the night I suffer this existence too long

Love Goddess of the night fulfill your role

With the magic of your love make me whole

At The End Of A Rainbow

At The End Of A Rainbow

At the end of a rainbow rests a pot of gold

That's what the fables all have surly told

This isn't the multi-colored beauty I prefer

It's to the golden hued bridge between our hearts I refer

We must pay to cross as every bridge has it's toll

Often it's our love to carry us through I extol

I myself have found a love that's like no other before

My love for you grows stronger and will forevermore

Our souls are together even though miles apart

After sharing laughter and tears so is our heart

Even with the trials I cherish these early times

These feelings flow from me written here in my rhymes

Until such time as we live them as was meant to be

Carried on the waves of love my words will flow from me

Fueled by your love being the catalyst for my heart

My words cross over the rainbow saying love has a start

I see you in my mind and their pace does swiftly increase

Giving me the energy while putting my spirit at peace

For where your love takes me there is such thin air

The rainbow stretches ever higher and onward with loving care

I can almost see you standing there waiting at the rainbow's end

Your sweet face aglow with the radiance from the love you send

As I step from the rainbow to take you in my tender embrace

You'll feel my heart beating and feel my loves passionate grace

For my journey's over when our hearts finally combine in love

And this rainbow takes us both to live as in Heaven above

For this is where we belong as lovers, we're that special we two

Until that day we're together, Please Remember.... I Love You!

The Whispers Of The Night

The Whispers Of The Night

When you're all alone, safe, tucked into your bed

Take a moment to be quiet and clear your head

Once still, listen to the winds whispered cry

Sung as softly as any loving mother's lullaby

She'll whisper in the dark all night long

Singing for you her famous fabled love song

“You became my light when the darkness falls

Illuminating my sight when the night calls"

She sings with the joy of the Angel's almighty plea

But only when it's quiet will she sing to thee

Open your heart and make it clean and pure

Then listen as The Whispers Of The Night endure

My Lullaby

My Lullaby

Hush my angel we don't need a word

And counting sheep is just absurd

All thoughts but for me set aside

Relinquish all the concerns from outside

Your eyes closed to find sweet dreams

Before the new morning sends it's beams

No more concerns for the trials of today

Just drift off listening to my wordplay

Theres nothing sad in the cloak of darkness

Only the tenderness of my loving caress

So travel with me to a place without worry

Slowly and easily for there is no need to hurry

Safe and comfortable under your covers you lie

Enchanted by the tenderness of my lullaby

Off to your slumber you lovingly float

Here with me together on our dream boat

I'm only yours and you're only mine

Together sailing off into dreams so divine

The Indian Princess

The Indian Princess

Along the mountain path the Indian princess walks

Watched by rabbits, foxes, as high above an Eagle squawks

In the valley below is her village peaceful, quiet, and serene

She climbs the narrow path where all is alive and green

Knowing spirits protect her walking with her spirit guide

Following the trail leading her higher up the mountain side

Gathering plants, roots, and berries for the winters coming cold

Singing ancient songs of warriors going forth brave and bold

She rests under a tree by a brook sunlight streaks everywhere

Dipping her feet in the water as the wildlife stops to stare

Rabbits, foxes, deer, mountain goats watch without a sound

Never fearing the Indian maiden resting quietly on the ground

The willow she's under is loosing it leaves with winter coning on

In the Indian way is one with nature feeling summer is now gone

As all around her falls colors abound marveling at their hue

While Mother Earth makes her changes for winter's coming anew

As high above the geese are honking flying in their perfect V

She breathes the wild flower scents taking in all thats there to see

Soon sleep overtakes the Princess and she naps beside the stream

Illusions of love with her warrior come to her in a pleasant dream

Under a starry sky they're entwined fulfilling their every need

Making sweet love with the brave she's to marry keeping tribal creed

Song birds land in the limbs above cackling and singing overhead

Startling her from her dream running the visions from her head

Her spirit high she rises and begins her trek back down to her band

With a big basket of nuts, plants, roots, and berries in her hand

Alone her way she dreams of her tomorrows on other Autumn days

And of all those nights with her young brave while new love plays

As darkness falls and moonlight gathers her family gathers around

Making their beds of fresh green bows they've spread upon the ground

And wrapped in warm buffalo robes under the plains starry skies

The Princess and her family in their teepee shall again close their eyes

Heaven

Heaven

Could there be Heaven on Earth
A wondrous paradise of rebirth?
A place where Angels you can find
Can it exist only inside my mind?

Or is it a place most sublime?
A promised paradise in another time?
That magic place where Angels fly
Where they dwell up in the sky

A realm where it feels like dreams
In a time of splendor it seems
A place with no more sorrow
Where there is always tomorrow

A place where time is shattered
Where only your love mattered
The place where love is real
And it's only joy that you feel

All I must do is truly believe
And this I may also receive
In Heaven there safe with God
Where only true love may trod

The Travails Of Life

The Travails Of Life

Sailing down life's lonely stream

All alone in this crazy dream

Watching as life drifted by

Hearing the winds mournful sigh

Blowing into my life and out again

Seeing that I'm always in pain

Sad soft whispers are all I hear

In this empty world full of fear

Searching for the sun and a bit of peace

To end this misery and give some release

To bathe in it's warmth and see it shine

Bring light into this dark life of mine

I found it twice but it didn't stay

Somehow the sunshine went astray

Then all that was left was the stain

And the clouds that brought the rain

Reminding me of all the tears I've cried

Raining in torrents for sun that died

Coming so fast a new ocean they made

Hurt, pain, and emotions left to jade

Chained into this boat of loneliness I sail

Through wind, rain, snow, and hail

Looking for the sun, praying for reason

So once again may come the sun's season

To burn away the dark clouds and mist

Feeling the enchantment of being lovingly kissed

Wrapped in the suns warm affection

Coming once again in my lonely direction

It's a chance I must take for a reason to live

To be enveloped in the warmth love can give

Sinew's burn spurring the will to fight

To end the rain until and bring on the sunlight

To escape a life as cold as any winter

And remove this loneliness splinter

To find what's right in the way I feel

To have and to hold what's true and real

Samson

Samson

Delilah was a woman who was tall and fair

She had feminine looks and long black hair

Delilah she could bind up any mans might

When Samson saw her she looked so right

Delilah she climbed up on Samson's knees

Tell me where your strength lies if you please

She spoke so kind and she talked with care

Samson said Delilah you would cut off my hair

They spoke about Samson back to his birth

He grew into the strongest man to live on Earth

After a night with Delilah he slept real long

When he awoke he found his mojo wrong

And he had been captured by the King's men

A loud roar and Samson knew it's a lion's den

Samson had one thing to do and that's to pray

Please Oh Lord I beg you hear what I say

He flexed his arms, his chains broke like thread

When he got to moving 10,000 men lay dead

Samson and the Lions had a horrendous fight

Samson alone took on all the Lion's might

We all know a Lion kills a man with his claws

But Samson got his hands upon the Lion's jaws

He ripped the beats and he killed then dead

There they lay dead and dieing in a pool blood red

The columns he pushed screaming a mighty sound

And the whole coliseum came crashing down

As the giant blocks smashed, crushed, and fell

All those evil doers there went straight to Hell

They and all the Lions died by Samson's hand

For Samson's might shattered all they had planned

It's Destiny I'm Riding

It's Destiny I'm Riding

All alone on a cold, wild, windy day such sad memories it has sent to me

Reminding me again of a life once bright and fulfilled, now cold and empty

Moment by moment my raining tears fall on to my shirt they are staining

Yet another year gone wasted, alone, love tucked away, held in restraining

The days become blurred, heart beat after beat and ever so surly it sours

Each new breathe chocking on the last, slowly dieing over the endless hours

Love locked away and never to be released, chained up forever in it's solitude

Yet another dreary dank day, the only difference is it's more brutal and rude

This long winter is cold, shimmering and icy, unbecoming, going on so wearily

An icy death chill in the air is attacking, faced so boldly... I wait dreamily

Out to the night I'm stretching to slip these bonds as I continue on schemeimg

In aloneness my lips moving with no one there to hear, in agony I'm screaming

All the color fades from this life alone in this night, seeing nothing to infinity

Wondering all through this long horrific night if there ever was any divinity

Blinded in the deepest darkest place where all of my fears lay in hiding

The world of love removed from my sight... It's Destiny I'm Riding!

Where Is My Love Goddess

Where Is My Love Goddess

Where is my Love Goddess in whose arms I belong
The lovely woman whose love burns bright and strong
Bringing that fiery heat all day and all night long
So that together we hear that magical Angel's song

Where is my Love Goddess to be with me forevermore
Her waves of desire washing continuously upon my shore
Giving us mighty wings so that far into Heaven we may soar
Making pleasured screams echoing their thunderous roar

Where is my Love Goddess the one I will love so dear
That special woman who makes passions way so clear
To remain by my side because she most wants to be near
With her amorous ways that take away all past fear

Where is my Love Goddess that will forevermore stay
Who out shines the Sun and turns the night into day
With heart and eyes only for me and will never stray
Turning a dull lonely life into a lifetime of love play
