Where i have &have not been

I have been in many places, but I've never been in Cahoots.
Apparently, you can't go alone. You have to be in Cahoots with someone.

I've also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there.

I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport; you have to be driven there.
I have made several trips there, thanks to my friends, family and work.

I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump, and I'm not too much on physical activity anymore.
I have also been in Doubt. That is a sad place to go, and I try not to visit there too often.

I've been in Flexible, but only when it was very important to stand firm.
Sometimes I'm in Capable, and I go there more often as I'm getting older.

One of my favourite places to be is in Suspense!
It really gets the adrenalin flowing and pumps up the old heart! At my age, I need all the stimuli I can get!

The Storm

Periods of calm ,Periods of Pain
And when the pass they come again
Moods Swininging hither and thither
Rain and sunshine like the weather

It's not a pleasant place inside this mind
There's a battle going on of a kind
Thought confusion spinning fast
I wonder how long the fight will last

The real test is to bear the pain
I battle on to stay but sane
Sometimes i feel i stand alone
A lonely Soldier on his own

This i guess is my earthly role
Soul to body ,body to soul
There's a world of war inside my head
Relief at last it's time for bed

Thought you might like this , I recieved it today

it's so true

Around the corner I have a friend,
In this great city that has no end,
Yet the days go by and weeks rush on,
And before I know it, a year is gone.
And I never see my old friends face,
For life is a swift and terrible race,
He knows I like him just as well,
As in the days when I rang his bell.
And he rang mine but we were younger then,
And now we are busy, tired men.
Tired of playing a foolish game,
Tired of trying to make a name.
'Tomorrow' I say! 'I will call on Jim
Just to show that I'm thinking of him.'
But tomorrow comes and tomorrow goes,
And distance between us grows and grows.
Around the corner, yet miles away,
'Here's a telegram sir,' 'Jim died today.'
And that's what we get and deserve in the end.
Around the corner, a vanished friend.

Lost Love

Read this on Poet's corner on train today and found it so nice

The Green leaf open's and the leaf fall's

Each breath is a flame that gives into fire

And grief is the price we pay for Love

And the death of love the fee of all desire
