Sorry, guys ... just in from a meeting ... Saturday and Sunday night for the twonighters ... Saturday for those staying the one night .. or Sunday night if they wish, as it is the bank holiday .. will contact the hotel owner nearer the date, when he has better idea of numbers to see about a bit of divilment on the Saturday night maybe ... or on the Sunday night ... Ferry times from Baltimore on the Saturday, April 30th, to Sherkin Island .. 12 noon, 2 pm, 4 pm, 5.30 pm and last scheduled ferry, 7.00 pm.
Ferry times from Sherkin on both Sunday and Monday: (May 1st and 2nd): 10.45 am, 12.15 pm, 2.15 pm, 4.15 pm and last ferry off island, 5.45 pm.
Rate for ferries is 10 euros return trip ...
If a group were to arrive late and wanted to book extra ferry, it's 30 euros for the extra ferry on top of normal fare ... so if you had 10 in the group, 3 euros extra each. This information directly from the ferry operator and may not tally with the info on the Islander's Rest site .. contact name for the ferry is Rosaleen, 087 2638470. This operator also offers a cruise around the islands for those that might be interested ... their website is

The Islander's Rest has an organised traditional music session on a Sunday afternoon and the bank holiday weekend is guaranteed to be busy .. but depending on numbers, they'll organise a bit of divilment .... anyway, onwards and upwards ......

We usually meet up at 8.30/9 ish for the meets ... directions to Baltimore on The Islander's Rest website .... lifted from aarouteplanner, I would think .... but fairly clear .... suggest peeps get to hotel as and when during the Saturday ... and then meet in the bar at 8.30??? Will do the balloons or something appropriate .... but it's a smallish bar ... in a smallish hotel ... on an island .... how wrong could you go???
