To save me going through all the posts here. Could someone please update me on the accommodation situation on the island?

Hey Aadheen .. hotel owner has asked for depostits (of 20 yoyos) to be paid by March 7th, won't be able to guarantee rooms after that date .. 125 yoyos for two nights B&B, one evening meal, and boat ride around the island ... on the Sunday morning ... one is 70 yoyos, B&B, but no boat ride included. Ferry to Sherkin Island leaves from Baltimore .. the hotel is The Islander's Rest on Sherkin Island .. they have a website which gives loads of info ... if you are going to book, just mention that you are with the group I was involved with, Ann Marie Robinson ...

Are most people going for the 2 nights or going down on Sunday?

myself and friend are goin for the 2, mainly cause of travel and that but it seems to be a better deal

Yeah, much better deal alright. Just read Libra's post, had thought I'd be pretty close as just presumed near Cork but it's a good bit away. Was just thinking that if some travelling from Waterford or Kilkenny, could share car as would save on petrol and quite a long journey.

two night's B&B, including dinner and the rib ride is 125.00 euros

I've paid more than that for one night in Dublin and no breakfast. Bloody good value! I'll definately be going!
