The Gift of Failure

Embedded image from another site

A compilation Oct 09, 2014

Learning from our experiences

Sometimes God uses life’s disappointments to draw us closer to Himself or teach us patience and trust. He also may use them to redirect us toward His will. Don’t let failure or disappointment cut you off from God or make you think the future is hopeless. When God closes one door, He often opens another—if we seek it.

When life turns against you, let the psalmist’s prayer become yours: “Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths.”—Billy Graham

Failing is a blessing

Whatever path failure guides you toward, it is always meant to give you a big serving of humble pie that builds your character, gives you perspective, grows your faith, and makes you appreciate your success later on. If you didn’t fail, you wouldn’t become the kind of person who ultimately succeeds.

See failure as a test, a teacher, a detour to a better outcome and an event that builds a better you.

When you see failure as a blessing instead of a curse, you will turn the gift of failure into a stepping stone that leads to the gift of success.—Jon Gordon

Moving beyond failure

If we’re not living in a prayerful place, we’re not prepared for coping with unexpected turmoil and tragedies. Most of us can click in at some point with Peter’s failures. We come out of an overinflated sense of our own ability to live for Christ, and then discover we can’t. But Jesus doesn’t leave Peter in that desolate place. He teaches and reteaches a principle that we must never move away from. Jesus can only do through us what we allow Him to do to us. “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.”

Recovery for Peter did not mean perfection. It means acknowledging where he is in his life, and being realistic in his assessment of who he is. His reinstatement does not come because of his strength, but because of his brokenness. We step into the will of God by acknowledging our love of Christ. … Failure leads us to that beautiful discovery that when we are faithless, Christ is faithful.—Charles Price

The soul-making process

We know that moral character gets formed through hardship, through overcoming obstacles, through enduring despite difficulties. Courage, for example, would be impossible in a world without pain. The apostle Paul testified to this refining quality of suffering when he wrote that “suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.”

Let's face it: we learn from the mistakes we make and the suffering they bring. The universe is a soul-making machine, and part of that process is learning, maturing, and growing through difficult and challenging and painful experiences. The point of our lives in this world isn't comfort, but training and preparation for eternity. Scripture tells us that even Jesus “learned obedience through suffering”—and if that was true for him, why wouldn't it be even more true for us?—Peter Kreeft

*

It takes great faith to face what looks like failure and defeat in some area and still keep standing on My Word, on My promises. You sometimes feel weary‚ exhausted, discouraged, and can't see the victory or even the potential for victory. Virtually every great man or woman of faith throughout history has had to face those times—sometimes for many years, sometimes until the point of death. Yet no matter how long the struggle, living for Me and holding on to your faith is the ultimate victory.

You may often look defeated in your own eyes, but your commitment in holding on to Me, even when everything looks lost and contrary to logic and reason, is the greatest victory of all.—Jesus, speaking in prophecy

How I Follow His Footprints

Embedded image from another site

By Debby Blettner Oct 08, 2014

Each person’s footprints are unique, as are God’s footprints. Once recognized, they can take you to places you never dreamed of. If you are like me, you will love the journey with all of its excitement. You might be shocked by where He takes you. Hang on to Him as if your life depends on it and reach the summit, which is to die for!

The synchronicity of the universe is a popular topic: putting out your intention with the universe providing. For me, it is Jesus’ eyes seeing my need, with His hands outstretched supplying it. It is also His shoulder to cry on during the difficult parts of the journey and His arms to comfort me. It is His smile, ever present to encourage me, and His footprints for me to follow.

God’s ways are so different from man’s ways, His wonders to behold. In order to perform these duties I should be at the peak of good health—though, as of this moment, I am still far from that. While my head is filling with knowledge and my heart is pouring forth these words, the seeming fantasy of authorship, seminar leadership, Internet marketer, coach, and speaker are far from me—another lifetime, perhaps.

But what if He is calling me into these fields? What if I was healed completely? Or what if I was only healed enough to desperately follow His footsteps in my utter weakness and dependence on His every word, every footprint I begin to see appearing in the sand before me? Could this be His way? I have yet to find out, but there is precedence for this. All throughout history the weak were chosen to accomplish His tasks, for they know who is the one bringing about the results. It is much easier to give God the glory when you can hardly speak, when you have difficulty standing for any period of time, when your body is racked with unending pain, and when your thoughts are fog.

When He fills me with His presence and I surrender, I know who is performing tasks through me, a yielded vessel only desiring His highest will. There is no question of who is performing the task. The only question could be how. This is part of the miracle, the amazing grace, the sheer joy and splendor of surrender to He who loves us all more than is imaginable. Such is the importance of His footprints, which I determine to follow. “Ye shall hear a voice behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it.”1

In reality, I have already been a published writer; I have coached, spoken, led a seminar, and sold products via the Internet. All I need to do now is follow His footsteps into my future, which might contain more emphasis on these talents and gifts I have been bequeathed.

What do you have a passion for that can help others? It will probably be something pertinent in your life, as mine was with health. All paths lead to it; it calls you, it frustrates you, and you have to find the answer. You find yourself researching it, and information flows to you from every direction on that topic. The fragmented pieces begin to join the dots and form a picture. You feel compelled to talk about it, write about it, share it with the individuals that come to you for your information, and in turn spread the word. You become a trusted source and people know you are honest, reputable, and trustworthy. They might even want to hear about your Savior because of your testimony of assistance, always being there for them, even if you never mention a word about your faith until their trust in you is born.

It is an amazing path to follow—and yes, it was unexpected—but I am so glad I have followed this far and am excited to peek a little bit further into my future to see where He is leading, grasping His hand like a little child with her father. But I know it will be thrilling and that I will have all that I need as I follow in His footprints. I encourage you to do the same. What is calling you?

In Search of the Fifth Dimension

Embedded image from another site

by David Brant Berg (excerpts)

"Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth ... for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." (Colossians 3:2; 2 Corinthians 4:18)

Everything is going on in the Spirit World. What's happening on the surface is nothing but a little physical manifestation of the real action. Where the real action is in the spirit world and it is in full control. We don't have to worry. Everything is under control.

The things and power and conflicts of the Spirit World--The real world where world destinies are being decided by the struggles of the spirits and archangels--this is what is really important! Our daily lives and the world's future are being influenced by the battles in the spirit world between the Lord and His angels on the one hand, and the Devil and his angels on the other.

A lot of people today, especially the young, are awakening to the fact that the spiritual world is real, God's real and the Devil's real.

Even a lot of scientists today seem to have more faith in it than some of these damned preachers, and are speaking of ESP--extra sensory perception--telepathic communication, deja vu, etc., and are saying that it is entirely possible, as Einstein was trying to prove, that there is another dimension--another world--which could be quite scientifically co-existent with this one, and even all around us!

True--witchcraft, wizardry, and dealing with evil familiar spirits, demons and devils are condemned by God; but this does not mean that we are supposed to blind ourselves, ignore, and shut ourselves off completely in ignorance to God's Own marvelous spiritual world in which He Himself dwells with His Son Jesus, His Holy Spirit, all His ministering spirits, the angels--2/3 of the spirit world (Revelation 12:4)--and all the millions of the spirits of the departed saints!

It's a battle, a wrestling match for spiritual control, & it's largely done through words & communication, influences. You can call it "words", but they don't always speak in words, they also give pictures & thoughts. The Lord gives warnings & good thoughts, & the Enemy gives temptations. So there's a battle of the mind, a battle of the spirit‚ a battle of the heart, which winds up in the battle of the body!

The battle is for the souls of men & their actions & their deeds & their words & attentions & all that sort of thing, & which way goes the World.

We are the ones deciding the course of the battle! We are the ones controlling the tide of battle according to our decisions & what we think, what we do, what we say‚ whom we obey.

Jesus said, "Strait is the gate & narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, & few there be that find it. But broad is the way & wide is the gate that leadeth unto destruction, & many there be that go in thereat!"—Mat.7:13,14. So the Lord knows that the vast majority of Mankind are wrong & going the wrong way & He's giving an illustration to all the forces of Heaven & Hell what happens if Man is given his choice!

But here they're delving into the secrets of the Spirit World and the supernatural, and what are they going to find? If God lets them see anything, and the Devil is used to show them anything, if they don't want the truth, then of course they're going to find the delusion, the hell! "Because they received not the love of the truth ... for this cause God shall send them strong delusion." (2Thessalonians 2:10,11)

But if you're a child of God none of these things can touch you! You don't have to worry! "God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love and of a sound mind," for "perfect love casteth out fear." (2Timothy 1:7 and 1John 4:18)

Influence

Embedded image from another site

A compilation SEPTEMBER 30, 2014

The power of one person’s life over another’s is something almost startling! There have been single looks of an eye which have changed a destiny. There have been meetings of only a moment which have left impressions for life, for eternity! No one can understand that mysterious thing we call influence. We read of our blessed Lord, that virtue went out of Him and healed the timid woman who came behind Him in the crowd and touched the hem of His garment… Of course, there never was another life such as Christ’s; yet every one of us continually exerts influence—either to heal, to bless, to leave marks of beauty; or to wound, to hurt, to poison, to stain other lives.

We are forever either adding to the world’s health and happiness and good—or to its pain, sorrow, or curse. Every moment of true and honest living, every victory we win over self or sin, and even the smallest fragment of a sweet life we live—makes it easier for others to be brave and true and gentle. We are always exerting influence.—J. R. Miller

*

While passing through this world of sin
And others your life shall view,
Be clean and pure, without, within,
Let others see Jesus in you.

Your life’s a book before their eyes;
They’re reading it through and through,
Does it point unto the skies,
Do they see Jesus in you?

Oh, what a joy it will be at the set of sun
In mansions beyond the blue,
To find some soul that you have won,
Because they saw Jesus in you.

Keep telling the story, be faithful and true,
Let others see Jesus in you.
—B. B. McKinney

*

Let Me use your eyes to see the needs of others, whether great or small. Let Me use your ears to hear the heart cries of the lost, and let Me use your tongue to pour forth My words of love and compassion, prayer and encouragement to a brother or sister who is discouraged. Let Me use your mind that I may implant My thoughts therein—thoughts of love and of kindness. Let Me take your heart in My hands and fill it with My concern for the multitudes of people who have not yet heard of My love.

Let Me use your hands to dry the tears of those who are crying, to give a pat on the back to those who are discouraged, to be a helping hand to someone who is falling by the way. Let Me use your tongue as an instrument of My love to someone who needs kind words. Even where you’re not looking for ways to be an example of My love, if you’re willing and heed My gentle whispers in your heart, I will put such situations in your path. They may seem small and insignificant, but they are great in My sight. It is a high calling to be a vessel of My love.—Jesus, speaking in prophecy

*

Sometimes just a word or a glance or a smile can make a big difference—how we look or sound or seem. If it’s not cheerful and victorious and uplifting, it’s bound to drag somebody else down with us. Others will partake of our spirits and be influenced by our attitudes. This is why it’s so important that we dwell on the positive, not the negative. Think about the good things. Be encouraging, loving, and cheerful. Love begets love. If we are peaceful, trusting, patient, restful, and full of faith, this is the way others will also react. A little real love goes a long, long way!

No man is an island. Everybody has influence. One person walking in love will encourage others to do likewise. If you show love, others will catch the same spirit. It’s such a contagious thing—the love of Christ in action. It spreads from heart to heart.

If we live enough with God, like Moses did, a little of God will rub off on us too and we’ll be happy and our faces will shine with joy and the Spirit of God. That’s the secret! If we shine forth with enough love, others will reflect it.—David Brandt Berg

In His Image

---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----

A Compilation Oct 02, 2014

As for me, I shall behold your face in righteousness; when I awake, I shall be satisfied with your likeness.—Psalm 17:15

Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.—1 John 3:2

Image possessors

From the very beginning, God’s plan has been to make you like his Son, Jesus. This is your destiny … God announced this intention at Creation: “Then God said, ‘Let us make human beings in our image and likeness.’”

In all of creation, only human beings are made “in God’s image.” This is a great privilege and gives us dignity. We don’t know all this phrase covers, but we do know some of the aspects it includes: Like God, we are spiritual beings—our spirits are immortal and will outlast our earthly bodies; we are intellectual—we can think, reason, and solve problems; like God, we are relational—we can give and receive real love; and we have a moral consciousness—we can discern right from wrong, which makes us accountable to God.

The Bible says that all people, not just believers, possess part of the image of God… But the image is incomplete and has been damaged and distorted by sin. So God sent Jesus on a mission to restore the full image that we have lost. (John 1:9)

What does the full “image and likeness” of God look like? It looks like Jesus Christ! The Bible says Jesus is “the exact likeness of God,” “the visible image of the invisible God,” and “the exact representation of his being.”—Rick Warren

In His likeness

In the first chapter of the first book of the Bible we are told that “God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him.” In other words, God made us very much like Himself in many ways, in His image and His likeness. We are like God! We have the majesty of choice, and we are similar to God in our thinking and in our emotions and in our personalities.
**
When man chooses to rebel against God and go his own way, he suffers the consequences of rebellion against God’s law of love, which brings misery, suffering, man’s inhumanity to man, cruelty, atrocities, wars, economic ills, mental anguish, and death.

God is interested in our decisions. He’s concerned to see if, when we are given the great majesty of choice, we will make the right choices. Of course, He is sad to see when we make the wrong choices. This is why He put us here and this is what we’re here to learn: how to make the right decisions. So God has had to give us the opportunity to have our own way and choice to see what we will do..—David Brandt Berg

A personal God

God’s Word ascribes emotions to God: love, hatred, anger, repentance, grief, compassion, indignation, abhorrence, patience, longsuffering, joy, and others. Such emotions are attributed to person-hood.

Nothing showed that God is personal as clearly as His revelation of Himself in Jesus. Jesus was God walking the earth, and He was personal in every way, in every act, so much so that He personally died so that we could receive salvation.

Our God is not some faraway disinterested being. He is a God who is personal, who has a relationship with His creation. He has made Himself known to us through His Word. He has shown us some of what He’s like. He is interested in us as individuals. He has made a way for us to live with Him forever, through salvation. Through belief in Jesus, God the Son, we become God’s children, which enables us to touch Him personally, to communicate with Him, to hear His voice, to share our hearts with Him. He communes with us, abides in us, and loves us. We commune with Him, abide in Him, and love Him. We have a personal relationship with the Personal God. How incredibly wonderful!—Peter Amsterdam

THE FOURTH VISION OF DANIEL THE PROPHET

Embedded image from another site

THE WORLD'S LAST 7 YEARS!

"And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one Shabua"

Daniel Chapter 9 is one of the most remarkable chapters in the entire Bible, containing some of the most amazingly fulfilled time prophecies God ever gave (around 538 B.C.) predicting the exact year of the first coming of Jesus Christ, and the timing of the Last Seven Years before His Second Coming!

The chapter begins with Daniel desperately calling out to God on behalf of his people Israel, who at this time were in captivity as slaves of the Persian Empire. Daniel gets a special visit from Gabriel the Archangel who shows him this vision. Gabriel gets permission from his overseer-Jesus - to give an explanation. (The time prophecy is in the verses Daniel 9:24-27.

1 "SHABUA" = 7 YEARS!

FACT: "Shabua" in Hebrew means "week" or "number of seven", as "a dozen" in English means a number of 12! In this prophecy it means a period of seven years!

70 SHABUA FOR ISRAEL = 490 YEARS.

God ordained seventy "weeks" ("shabua") or 70 "sevens" or 490 years, for His people Israel and their holy City Jerusalem, as He said to Daniel, to: "bring in everlasting righteousness and to seal up the vision and prophecy!" These 490 years began when the Persian King Artaxerxes ordered the rebuilding of Jerusalem in 453 B.C., and 483 of those years ended in 30 AD when Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead! Which leaves seven more years!

THE LAST SEVEN YEARS!

But the World's last 7 years, the very last shabua of these 70 "sevens", was obviously suspended after 69 sevens, when "Messiah the Prince"--Jesus--was "cut off!" Because "everlasting righteousness" or in other words, the beginning of Gods Kingdom on earth and the end of the History of Man without God, did not begin in 37 AD! Thus the vision and prophecy are still not "sealed up!"

These last 7 years are supposed to "kick off" again with the "confirmation" or signing of a Holy Covenant by the Last World Leader and False Messiah, the Antichrist, which has not taken place yet!

"And he (the Antichrist!) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week" (seven years!)

After these last 7 years do begin, 3½ years later, in the middle of these Last 7 years, the AC will stop the Jewish Daily Sacrifice which they will recommence in a soon-to-be-built Jewish Temple in Jerusalem.

Because of all his desecration's or "abominations", the Antichrist will make things "desolate" or barren until the End or "consummation", which refers to the Return of Christ and the Wrath of God that will be poured upon the desolate, the World's people who will be left behind after Jesus comes and takes His children out of this World.

DANIEL CHAPTER 9

24 "SEVENTY WEEKS are determined upon your people and upon your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy."
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks (7) and threescore and two weeks (62): the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

26 "...Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself: and the people of the prince that shall come, shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined."

27 "And he (the Prince that shall come, the AC!) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."

Endtime Treasuretrove

Book by Scott MacGregor [Cover design by Kristen Dufrane]

The events covered in The Rise and Fall of the Antichrist have already been recorded in celestial annals, but have yet to occur on Earth. They involve the inevitable rise of the man who would rule the world, and his spectacular fall at Armageddon.

This mysterious master of evil—whom the Bible calls the Antichrist, the Beast, the Evil One, the Man of Sin, and the Son of Hell—will rise to power by peace, and by intrigue and clever deceit. He will solve some of the world’s most pressing problems, and will broker a remarkable pact between the major conflicting powers and religions of the world. But this will come at a price, which will be compliance with his world government, resulting in the abolishment of personal rights, freedoms, and religious liberty.

The events detailed in this book could be imminent [free downloads]. They are of great concern to everyone, including you and those you care about!

Cover imagery: The serpent of old, Satan (Revelation 12:9), entwines himself around the circle, representing the global reach of the Antichrist’s empire. At the center of the circle is a pentagram, an ancient and enduring symbol of iniquity, symbolizing the wickedness that the world will have fallen into under the rule of this final empire of evil.

Tribulation Triumphs

Embedded image from another site

BY DAVID BRANDT BERG

Although they will be difficult days, God's people are going to shine brighter with the truth than they have ever shone before.

The Great Tribulation, the last three and a half years of the Antichrist's rule that immediately precedes the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, is sadly misunderstood by many people. They envision the Tribulation as a time of complete defeat and a terrifying time of hell on earth for all believers in the true God. But I can prove from the Bible that this is not the case, thank God!

First, here is the apostle Matthew's account of what Jesus told His disciples about the Tribulation and the events leading up to it.

Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?"

And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

"Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation' [the image of the Beast—an idol of the Antichrist], spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand). ... then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be." (Matthew 24:3–15,21)

Embedded image from another site

He's also going to use mighty men and women, His prophets and prophetesses, to lead His people and, with supernatural help from Heaven, protect them from the Antichrist and his forces as they continue to proclaim the truth until the day that Jesus returns, when "we which are alive and remain shall be caught up ... to meet the Lord in the air" (1 Thessalonians 4:17).

"The people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits" (Daniel 11:32).

Revelation chapter 11 describes two of God's Endtime witnesses who will have power to bring curses and plagues upon the wicked and to actually call down fire from God to devour their enemies. What a picture of mighty men and women of God fighting victorious battles over the minions of Hell! The Antichrist won't be able to stop these two until just three and a half days before Jesus returns. The Antichrist will finally be allowed to kill them, but as the wicked are rejoicing over the two witnesses' deaths, suddenly Jesus will return in His glory to resurrect and rapture them and the rest of the "dead in Christ," the saved from all ages (1 Thessalonians 4:16; 1 Corinthians 15:51–54). It will be a mighty triumph for God's people, showing that He holds power over death itself.

I think these two witnesses of Revelation chapter 11 are also symbolic of all those who know and side with God. I believe they'll all have "power for the hour" in that day to help them survive as long as possible. The apostle Paul wrote, "Where sin abounded, grace abounded much more" (Romans 5:20). And where satanic power is going to abound, God's power is going to abound much more to protect His own. God's purpose is not going to be defeated. He's going to have millions of witnesses right up to the End.

(Read also, "monsters, plagues, & pestilences God sends upon those who persecute the righteous; only those who has the Seal of God in their foreheads are not harmed." Revelations 8 & 9)

Influx of Ebola Cases, One of Histories Deadliest

Embedded image from another site

PESTILENCES

SEPTEMBER 24, 2014 POSTED BY THEA

CDC and WHO warn of 1.4 million Ebola cases by January

Ebola-story

The number of Ebola cases in west Africa could surpass 1.4 million by January and the disease could become endemic, scientists warned in two separate reports published on Tuesday.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) said that, unless “drastic improvements in control measures” were made, the number of cases – currently 5,800 – could nearly quadruple to 21,000 by the end of next month.

Christopher Dye, the head of strategy at the WHO and a co-author of the study, said: “We’ve rather modestly only extended the projections to Nov 2, but if you go to…Jan 2, you’re into hundreds of thousands.”

He said it was feared that the virus, which has killed more than 2,800 people this year in the deadliest outbreak in history, could become a “permanent feature of the human population”.

The epidemic might simply “rumble on as it has for the last few months for the next few years”, he added.

The research by the UN-funded agency also found that the death rate for the current outbreak may be higher than previously calculated – closer to 70 per cent instead of 55 per cent. So far Ebola has killed more than 2,800 people in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia.

The WHO study echoed a “worst-case scenario” report from the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention. It warned that, without significant increases in international efforts to stem the spread of the virus, it could infect hundreds of thousands in the next three months, leaving 1.4 million sick by January.

According to some research models, however, that’s not even the tip of the iceberg. Should the virus make its way outside of Africa and spread at a similar rate then it is possible that it would eventually make its way to all corners of the globe. This potential for an Ebola-based global pandemic has set into motion a number of different responses from officials at the World Health Organization, African governments, and western nations.
**
But Doctors Without Borders, the organization that spearheaded the treatment and containment efforts at the beginning of the crisis when governments were completely ignoring it, says that WHO’s efforts are destined to fail:

One of the main organizations involved in fighting the outbreak, Doctors Without Borders, is dubious about the new effort and has decided not to take part. Brice de le Vigne, the group’s director of operations, warned that the proposed community care centers could worsen the situation.

“This is not going to work,” he said. “To move people in an epidemic is a big responsibility, and it requires huge logistical capabilities” that the affected countries simply don’t have.

To be effective, he said, these care centers need to have strict infection control, adequate supplies, trained staff, regular supervision, the ability to diagnose and refer patients, and proper burial methods. Otherwise, they could turn into “contamination centers,” he said.

Just because we have a more advanced medical system and better living conditions does not mean that we will be able to stop the spread of this virus.

In fact, some medical professionals are already warning that we are not prepared for an Ebola pandemic.

At this point we don’t know how this epidemic will develop, but we do know that Jesus warned us of “pestilenses”as one of the signs preceeding His second coming, adding that “all these are the beginning of sorrows.” However, He also told us that “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace.”

So it’s important to keep an eye on what’s happening but not look at these events with fear in our hearts, knowing that our Good Shepherd is in control of what’s happening and will take care of us.

(Psalm 91:1-7)

Rapturous Feeling

Embedded image from another site

Those of us who have chosen to receive His love, have entered a New World of freedom from the shackles of the flesh, into the vast and boundless universe of the Spirit! Our visions expand beyond national boundaries of human origin and the observance of a materialistic Promised Land: the insignificant earthly goals and superstitious darkness of traditionalism to the interplanetary New Jerusalem! Heaven our Home! Earth our footstool.  A mere stepping stone to all the Wonders of God and New Worlds yet to Win!--David Brant Berg

At the end of that last 3-1/2 years of "Great Tribulation", seven years after the fiendish Antichrist came to power, just after he and his ten European kings burned the Great Whore with Nuclear Fire, when he thinks he has the World in his grasp, then suddenly! BOOM! The Sun and Moon go dark, "stars fall from the sky" or great meteor showers and like a bolt from the blue, Jesus returns and snatches all of His children out of this evil World!

A climactic event known as "the Rapture!" Just after that darkest night in World history we are going to have the brightest dawn! Jesus is going to come back and rescue His own, His people, everyone who loves and knows Him and has received Him in their hearts! (Matthew 24:29-31)

Amazing sights and sounds will herald this climactic event. All of God's children who have died through the ages and gone on to be with Jesus will come back with Him to pick up their new resurrection bodies and be instantly resurrected in new supernatural bodies, bursting out of their [paradise heavens] and ascending to meet Jesus in the air. "Your dead men shall live!" & "the Earth shall cast out her dead!" Isaiah 26:19

Then we who are alive and remain, having miraculously survived and kept on witnessing for Jesus throughout the Antichrist's reign of terror, will instantly be changed, transformed, as we also receive our new, miraculous, powerful, supernatural, resurrection bodies just like Jesus' body after He was resurrected! And up we'll sail towards the sky, "to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord!" 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18; 1 Corinthians 15:51-57; Philippians 3:21

All of our anti-Christ enemies will be shocked as they see the Lord coming in the clouds of Heaven with power and great glory, lighting up the whole sky like permanent lightning!--The powers of the Heavens shaken!--The Lord descending with a great shout!--A terrific blast on the trumpet of God!--Graves of the Saints bursting open as the dead are raised!--And all of God's children who are still alive transformed before their eyes, flying upwards to meet Jesus! Jesus will snatch His people out of reach of their Antichrist persecutors and whisk them away to the grandest, most thrilling victory celebration that's ever been held--the great "Marriage Supper of the Lamb" in Heaven! Revelations 14:14-16; 19:6-9.
**
Hebrews 1:10-12 He also says, "In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end.

Daniel 12:2-3 Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.

WORLD GOVERNMENT

SEPTEMBER 23, 2014 POSTED BY THEA

The Georgia Guidestones Have Officially Been Updated with the Year 2014

Some say that the mysterious granite structures in Elbert County, Georgia were put there by members of the sustainable development movement. Others say they’re guidelines for the what the elite members of society plan to do with the world in the near future. Wherever they came from, the Georgia Guidestones as they are called, have been the topic of much controversy and conspiracy theory over the last 35 years.

Originally built in 1979 by an unknown individual, the Guidestones outline ten principles, or guidelines, for how humanity is supposed to live and be governed on planet Earth.

For those who believe that the Guidestones may be a warning of globalization and a coming New World Order, the very first message may be the most controversial. “Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature,” it reads, leaving many wondering if the stones’ messages are merely suggestions, or perhaps something more sinister. The other guidelines don’t fair much better, with several calling for a centralized global governing body, a world court, and a unified social order.

That no one knows who built the stones or why is in and of itself a mystery for the ages. But now, according to reports from individuals who recently visited the Stones, they have been updated with a new message, perhaps even more cryptic than the stones themselves. Apparently, without much fanfare, a new corner stone has been added and it depicts the number “2014.”

How Much More

---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----

A compilation Sep 23, 2014

If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!—Matthew 7:11

*

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory.—Ephesians 3:20–21

*

Our weakness and foolishness are visible; God’s strength and wisdom are invisible. Our need is clear before our very eyes; God’s supply is hidden in the secret of His presence, and can only be realized by faith. …

I remember hearing of a Christian who was in great trouble, and who had tried every way for deliverance, but in vain, who said finally to another in a tone of the utmost despair, “Well, there is nothing left for me now but to trust the Lord.”

“Alas!” exclaimed the friend …, “is it possible it has come to that?”

And yet, if our Lord is to be believed, His “much mores” of grace are abundantly equal to the worst emergency that can befall us.

The apostle tells us that God is able to do “exceeding abundantly above all that we can ask or think”; and this describes what His “much mores” mean. We can think of very wonderful things in the way of salvation—spiritual blessings that would transform life for us, and make the whole universe resplendent with joy and triumph—and we can ask for them. But do we really believe that God is able and willing to do for us “exceeding abundantly” above all that we can ask or think? ...

In another place we are told that “eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” If God has prepared more for us than it has ever entered into our hearts to conceive, surely we can have no question about obtaining that which has entered into our hearts, and “much more” beside.—Hannah Whitall Smith

*

“If God so clothed the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, how much more shall He clothe you?”

Have you ever gazed at a blade of grass? I don't mean have you merely glanced at it; but have you taken it up and feasted your eyes upon it until its exquisite beauty is forever imprinted upon your soul? Contemplate, therefore, … If God takes so much pains with a blade of grass, how much more will He take with one of His own children.—J. H. Jowett8

*

We usually think of things that are beyond our comprehension as supernatural or miraculous, but those things aren’t supernatural to God because He operates in the spiritual realm where everything is “natural” to Him. It’s like saying there is nothing impossible with God. A lot of things God does are beyond our power and grasp of things and what we consider natural, so when they happen we say they are supernatural. But with God, nothing is impossible, so nothing is supernatural to Him!

God can do things that are contrary to what we consider His natural laws. When someone gets healed of an incurable disease, for example, we call it a miracle because we’re seeing the evidence or manifestation of some of God’s laws that link the spiritual and the physical realms—laws that we know little about. To God, on the other hand, it’s simple! He knows how to undo whatever damage the disease may have done and thereby creates what to us is a miracle—a supernatural act that is beyond our capabilities.

God is able to work miracles on our behalf, according to His will—miracles of healing, supply, protection, or whatever else we may need, when we ask Him in faith and claim the promises from His Word. We can’t work miracles; we can only pray for Him to do it and marvel at His power when He does.—David Brandt Berg
