Who made god?

“Religion is an insult to human dignity. Without it you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things.
But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.”
? Steven Weinberg

The times they are a changing..............................

After each moon landing the Astronauts had to be decontaminated but why?

Whenever westerners invaded a newly conquered land, many of its native inhabitants became sick and of those, a large percentage died because they had no natural defense/protection against such diseases as smallpox and the like.

Fast forward to current time. Could this virus and earlier ones like SARS be the result of alien visitations? Could it be that the Chinese are just the whipping boys for these viruses so that the authorities need not explain the true cause of the outbreak to the masses?

Food for thought only...

Spiritual but Not Religious..................

I have often been asked what my religion is. The short answer is just as it is listed on my profile, ‘Spiritual but not religious’. If I’m pressed further I will inform people that I live by the ‘Laws of the Universe’ and not by any man-made religious sect, either mainstream nor minority.
Once a person understands the ‘Laws of the Universe’ it becomes quite obvious that several of the (10 biblical commandments), not all, are also covered, such as thou shalt not steal, kill etc.
Below I have a list of the main 12 Spiritual Laws of the Universe... they are not of my writing however enjoy reading them...

12 Spiritual Laws of the Universe

1. The Law of Divine Oneness
The Law of Divine Oneness is the foundational law, according to which absolutely everything in our universe is interconnected. In other words, every choice, word, desire, and belief you have will also have an impact on the world, and on the people in your life.
Sometimes this impact will be immediate and obvious. At other times, it may take a while to manifest, or you may never even discover that it has occurred. Try to think of yourself as part of everything around you to live in accordance with this law. We are all one, and awareness of this makes us more powerful as well as more empathetic.

2. Law of Vibration
According to the Law of Vibration, every particle in the universe is in constant movement and constantly carries energy. This applies to enormous parts of the universe, like the planets and stars. However, it also applies to the chair underneath you or the table where your computer sits.
In addition, everything has its own specific energy frequency. High energy particles are naturally attuned to other high energy particles, and the same is true for those that have low energy.
If your goal is to live a more productive and full life, consider what you would need to do to heighten your energy frequency.

The fire-pit child safety screen LATEST PICS

Near where I live they are upgrading a communal area. The old tin roof has been removed and the concrete slab has been extended to twice it's size and now measures 12 metres by 6 metres (roughly 40' X 20').

Brick work has been built to house a brand new 6 burner gas BBQ with rotisserie at one end and a massive 1.5 metre (roughly 5') diameter fire-pit & smoke hood at the other. Huge wooden tables and benches are being brought in for seating. Tom, who makes the tables uses pre-loved timber. The first table that he has delivered weighs in at about 340 kg (around 750 lbs) and the next table to arrive will be a little longer and heavier..... wow

My part in the project is to build a child safety fence around the fire-pit. I've measured and drawn up the plans, sourced the material, had it delivered (albeit a little latter than planned because the truck broke down) and am now in the process of constructing each of eight panels of what will become an octagon shaped screen that will be bolted to the concrete. One panel will become the gate to enter the fire-pit area.

The new roof supports are going up:

End of work today (Tuesday) just managed to snap this pic before I lost all the light so it's a bit blurry as it was taken with my mobile/cell phone, just like all the other pics. The screen is all joined together but only free-standing, not yet bolted to the concrete. The panel closest to the front is the gate.

As of Wednesday evening all the posts have been bolted to the concrete..... JOB COMPLETE.. yay
