Human Rights !

Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, whatever our nationality, place of residence, sex, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, language, or any other status.

We are all equally entitled to our human rights without discrimination.

These rights are all interrelated, interdependent and indivisible.

Trust you ? how much do you weigh?

I got a phone call tonight from my bank (apparently) asking for my password. Uh, no. The guy was quite hurt that I didn’t want to give it to him. Didn’t I trust him? Hell, no.

Okay, we have to trust just to step outside our front door. Trust the guy in the car behind you has good brakes. Trust the babysitter with your kids, or the school when you drop your kids off. Trust politicians to run the country in our best interests, and banks with our money. Trust dating websites to introduce us to lovely people!

But there are limits. Hell, I love you guys and I've known some of you over a YEAR and still I wouldn't tell you my bank PIN.

Maybe that's wrong, and we should all trust more. Tell me yours first. Let's see how it goes. grin

Making Some Changes

I am making some changes in my life. There is a piece of musical equipment I want but its expensive so to pay for it, I am making some lifestyle changes.

I am no longer buying any weed wow At least until its paid for. I got to come up with nearly 3 grand so my habits have to change if I am going to be able to afford it.

In the meantime, when I do get my new very loud equipment, the whole damn community will hear all about it literally hahahaha devil

Hiding from the heat

It's over 100 degrees today here.

I go out and work in the wood shop for 20 minutes, and
then I hot foot it back into the house for a glass of ice tea
and cool off for 20 minutes.

Over the 11 years that I've lived here, I've watched the
temperature rise and rise and rise.

This ain't climate change. This ain't global warming. No,
this is planetary over heating........yow

long hair vs short hair men

Does the majority class of women prefer long hair or short hair... Often ibfind the drama books women read have men with long hair but socially I'm told they prefer a guy with short hair... Reguardless I'm growing mine out to shoulder length but I wanted opinions to know what I'm about to walk into as far as the social life goes haha

Being always wrong

Some times it does not matter what we men say or do
We are always in the wrong..

For the lady on the blog..

Get Out Of Town

Get of town
before its too late my love
get out of town.
Be good to me please

Way wish me no harm
Why not retire to a farm
and contented to charm
the birds of the tree.

Just disappear
I care for you much too much
and when you are near close to me dear
We touch too much.

The thirll when we meet is so bittersweet
that darling its getting me down.

So on your mark
Get set
Get out of town...

ps. love Cole Porter.

Walk goog every one and enjoy your week-end..

danger w/ beauty

I am not talking about only one gender here and everyone in particular. This will pertain to both the male and the female gender and to only some people within. This blog is not directed at any one person…in fact, this thought has been with me for some time and only now have I figured out how to express it.

Many of us get our identity from the feedback we receive from others. For example, if George does a lot of charitable things for his school, chances are, George will get positive feedback from the people who he helped out. If George does this throughout his life and continues to get this positive feedback, George may develop a positive image of himself. In other words, he will begin to identify with this feedback and develop his ego based on this feedback. It is human nature for people to do this.

Let’s, for the sake of this blog, just use the example of a beautiful woman. Lol….I know, figures coming from me. Okay, it can really be any woman…or any man for that matter. But, I want to stick to the beautiful woman because it is easier to explain and to understand. Since her childhood, Margy grew up getting praise from her parents on how beautiful she is and how she is such a princess. When she gets into her teenage years, she starts to discover all the boys are giving her tons of attention. Even the girls gravitate toward her. Margy….well, she really is a truly beautiful woman. She is tall, perfect body, beautiful eyes, beautiful everything…..just a gorgeous girl. Well, Margy starts to discover that she can say anything and do anything and everybody just laughs with her and supports her behavior.

Now, into young adulthood, Margy, still a beauty queen as she was in her teens, continues on with the same behavior. She can be rude to others. She can get her way with everyone. She can dictate situations to her own personal satisfaction. The guys she is around never attempt to speak up. After all, most of them are after only one thing. The women she is around never attempt to speak up. Heck, if I am friends with Margy, she will be opening up opportunities for me with the people she has around.

Pretty soon, Margy, from all this “false” feedback, believes she is more in life than she really is. Until, her true close friends and family step in and try to offer her advice. Maybe, they try and point out the woes of her ways? However, Margy knows they are just trying to be rude, or, they are even jealous of her. Afterall, throughout my life, Margy thinks, I have never done no wrong. Nobody has ever spoken to me the way my “so-called” close friends and family are speaking to me.

Confusion and possible reality sets in….only after Margy ages and loses the “power” of her beauty.

So, being a beautiful person can be dangerous. One might think it breeds narcissism. Sometimes having people in your life that “check” you once in awhile, can be a great thing.

Of course, this can happen with men too.

What do you all think...yeah/no/maybe so?

Just my 2 pennies….
