Hiding from the heat

It's over 100 degrees today here.

I go out and work in the wood shop for 20 minutes, and
then I hot foot it back into the house for a glass of ice tea
and cool off for 20 minutes.

Over the 11 years that I've lived here, I've watched the
temperature rise and rise and rise.

This ain't climate change. This ain't global warming. No,
this is planetary over heating........yow

Viking how hot does it get in June and July?
It can get up to 110 to 115 at the worst.

But if you go into the city, with all the cars
and the pavement it can go past 125.

You can't hardly breathe when it's like that.

But out here in the countryside, it's much
easier to stay cool.....coolish...kind of?
Oh, I don't think I would like it at 125. That's to hot.
That time of the year, city folk with money
head to the beach or to their country home
to get away from the heat.

The poor folks get cooked.
Those poor people..laugh It must be hard for themlaugh
Several years ago when I lived in Val Vista,in Southern California which would get anywhere in the hundreds people would do anything like mow lawns etc early in the morning and stay inside the rest of the day.

Then I moved back east to Ohio and wow what a obvious change in temps.
