Life in the 21st century
Ah.....ain't it grand.Well, most of the time. The little conveniences that we
can no longer live without.
The daily distractions that we wish we could get away
from, that we were so eager to buy.
All of those so called labor saving devices that now take
up most of our day.
Yeah, ain't it great?
And then of course there is CS. The thread that stitches
together that curtain that we have drawn over reality so
that we can talk to each other without having to actually
be together.
Though, this CS marvel does come with a couple of small
annoyances. You know what I mean.
Once in a while, I will get somebody look at my profile, and
then block me so I can't see their profile. I feel that they
are doing me a favor. I don't have to waste my time to see
if they are worth my time, because they already showed me
that they are NOT.
And then there are the ones that send you a message asking
how they can contact you. That always gives me a giggle,
cause haven't they already contacted me when they ask?
Finally, I wish some folks would be a little more serious and
stop joking for a minute or two.
But maybe none of this matters anymore. It looks like WWIII
is around the corner, unless a meteor hits us before a super
volcano erupts or the aliens return to punish us for turning
this beautiful blue/green planet into a brown dust bowl.
Then again, El Salvidor may decide to save us all, but I'm not
in the mood........

As for end of world mmmmm I will end before the world so viking life for me at least is great and I am loving it.

I at least want to try to get to know a person,
and then I can say no thanks, or whatever.
to go into outer space, pack that bag of
yours and get on board........

I do agree with about all of the distractions of daily life. We are all getting over stimulated and nuttier by the minute.
