There is a Saturday blog and a Sunday one. I was suggested to do a Monday one. There are some great songs about Monday but I want to do a Tuesday one.
Reasons for a Tuesday. Well Monday is over for this week and one of my favourite bands wrote about Tuesday mornings. Their song Fairytale in New York is my favourite song but today let's talk about Tuesday.
As I can't post the video as I haven't learnt how to from a mobile here goes the lyrics.
Too many sad days
Too many Tuesday mornings
I thought of you today
I wished it was yesterday morning
I thought of you today
I dreamt you were dressed in mourning
But I knew that you
WIth your heart beating
And your eyes shining
Would be dreaming of me
Lying with you
On a Tuesday morning
I fell through the window
And I found that I was still breathing
I thought of tomorrow
And the fear that you might leave me
I thought of tomorrow
And I wished it was Monday morning
Turn your face from me
And I will cover myself with sorrow
Bring hell down upon me
I will surrender my heart to sorrow
Bring hell down upon me
And I will say goodbye tomorrow
Yep nothing about this blog will raise your pulse
Nothing about this blog will make you want to rush on it and get your drama fix
Nothing about this blog will be about you
Nothing about this blog will be dramatic
This blog is the calm blog
So calmly post and share your positive energy and music videos
I know I've asked this question before, but unfortunately never got a reply.....
probably because no-one knew, but given there has been a few new faces since, maybe this time, someone will finally be able to answer me
Does anyone know the name of the piece below
I want to learn to whine and I don't mean give or make a long, high-pitched complaining cry or sound.I mean whine dance
After being in Trinidad and Tobago for nearly a month. I've seen that here the women seem to have a butt with a mind of its own.. They really move it and really really good the music just makes your hips and butt move. I had never heard soca music and I just love it.

Despite being dedicated on the album to Maxime – the songwriter’s wife – Taupin would later say on a Rolling Stone interview that this song wasn’t about any woman in particular:
We came to California in the fall of 1970, and sunshine radiated from the populace. I was trying to capture the spirit of that time, encapsulated by the women we met–especially at the clothes stores up and down the Strip in L.A. They were free spirits, sexy in hip-huggers and lacy blouses, and very ethereal, the way they moved.
They were just so different from what I’d been used to in England. They had this thing about embroidering your clothes. They wanted to sew patches on your jeans. They mothered you and slept with you. It was the perfect Oedipal complex.
Just a playlist of some real good blues for all to enjoy
All we are is dust in the wind.
Love the lyrics of his songs and of course his music too!!
