Lock Her UP!..Uuhh.....

Trump Admits His Threat To Lock Up Clinton Was Just For Show
“That plays great before the election. Now, we don’t care, right?”

President-elect Donald Trump spoke at a rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Friday.
President-elect Donald Trump on Friday acknowledged his threat to imprison Hillary Clinton for using a private email server during her time as secretary of state was simply an appeal to win voters.

As Trump spoke at a rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as part of his post-election “Thank You Tour,” some supporters began chanting “lock her up” ? a common refrain during the Republican convention and Trump’s campaign events.
“No, it’s okay,” Trump said as the crowd jeered a reference to Clinton. “Forget it. That plays great before the election. Now, we don’t care, right?”

Trump threatened during the second presidential debate to prosecute Clinton.
“I didn’t think I’d say this, but I’m going to say it, and I hate to say it, but if I win, I am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation because there has never been so many lies, so much deception, there has never been anything like it and we’re going to have a special prosecutor,” he said.

Trump backed away from that claim shortly after the election, telling The New York Times he doesn’t “want to hurt the Clintons.”
“She went through a lot and suffered greatly in many different ways,” Trump said.

That sentiment doesn’t sit well with many Trump supporters. A HuffPost/YouGov survey found that 68 percent of Trump voters favor the president-elect appointing a special prosecutor to investigate Clinton.

Leftist ot Liberal?

Which of these words do you like to say the most? They are both very popular words, as can be seen by the number of threads with at least one in its title. But if you could only choose one, which would it be? Which one could you simply not live without. Is it more satisfying to call someone who thinks your views are insane a leftist or a liberal? Which one causes the most offence?

But I want them both, Mommy. crying

Did you watch the 2016 Vice Presidential Debates?

Many (50 million) watched the vice presidential debate last night? Well, of sort of debate! I say "sort of debate", because I felt Governor Mike Pence was at a disadvantage trying to defend Trump and his plans and why Trump should be President. Pence spent too much time when asked a question, telling short heart felt story lead-ins to make his points, but never really answered any questions directly. It was difficult for Pence, because Trump has no real plans and it was obvious to me, Trump hasn't discussed any concrete plans with Pence other than what we hear at his rallies, same stump foolishness.

Pence couldn't rightly defend Trump on any such outlined policy proposals regarding immigration, the threat of terrorism, Pence never answered as to what he or Trump would do about home grown terrorist, how Trump plan to go about protecting civilians in Syria, plans for safe and no fly zone set ups, Pence did hesitatingly explained faith and public policy positions.

I think Kaine did a much better job of answering and explaining these Clinton interests and issues than Pence. I realize some republicans and republican media outlets are saying Pence outclassed Kaine, but no one is talking about Pence's substance in information sharing on Trump's policies and concerns of the American voters... this, I would think, is more important to voters than who looked good and who won the debate based on one's appearance and jab responses.

Tim Kaine on the other hand, spent too much time interrupting Pence... Kaine had me screaming at the television telling him to "shut Up and let Pence speak". Kaine was driving me crazy, he was overly zealous in his efforts to defend and point out Clinton's plans and proposals, and to denounce Trump. Although Kaine had much more substances and information than Pence, and Kaine knew Clinton's plans and perspective proposals, which Pence didn't have a clue outside of Trump's already talking points of "fixing" and what "needs to be done", Pence said everything but never explaining how Trump would go about implementing such proposals and plans.

All in all, I felt both Vice Presidential candidates did well, considering Kaine had more insightful information into Clinton's plans. Pence was finding it difficult explaining Trump's so-called plans, and Trump can't explain his own plans, so how can a person explain something he/she knows nothing about, except Trump's cheap talk.

Pence without outright lying, could only defend Trump "at afar", and as a Christian, Pence tried the best he could to defend Trump as not having said "this or that" without having to lie for Trump or prove he believes Trump's lies. I like both Kaine and Pence and really think America and the world saw a glimpse of two candidates who outshines their running mates who are seeking the Presidential office. Kaine and Pence should be the ones running for President.

From where I sat, Pence won the debate on his style, grace, and calmness. Kaine won the debate on his assertiveness and knowledge in the matters of Clinton's presidential planed policy proposals for America if she is elected. Kaine had substance and Pence didn't have a clue, but spoke what he THOUGHT were Trump's plans in brief, never really answering direct questions to defend any plans or proposals of Trump, Pence only tried to defend Trump as a person not his non-existing policies.

Maybe the Republicans and Democrats and voters should take another look and who knows, in the end Kaine just might end up being the last minute 2016 Presidential candidate for the Democratic party, and Mike Pence for the last minute 2016 presidential candidate for the Republican party.

Based on substance and information Tim Kaine won the debate, based grace and class Pence won the debate... which one is most important to you as a voter seeking a Presidential leader of America? Class or Substance? professor

Trumps supporters have paid 40 million dollars toward his legal bills not toward his campaign that he has them believing.

Liberal, so concerned about how Trump spends donations

That’s their money and right

What have Biden supporters have cost USA ?

Since the war began, the Biden administration and the U.S. Congress have directed more than $75 billion in assistance to Ukraine

$75,000,000,000.00
Vs
$40,000,000.00

For every dollar spent on Trump defense Biden spends $18,750 on Ukraine

The Trump Affect On Ireland's Media

Irish Media In A Trump Meltdown
It appears Trump has affected the Irish media...

Trump sends Irish media into meltdown
John Spain @IrishCentral

Some of the most fraught reaction to Trump has come from the more "intellectual" end of the media spectrum in Ireland, with several writers almost having nervous breakdowns in print. To these emotionally incontinent scribes all we can say is calm down, it's not going to be that bad. Some of the most fraught reaction to Trump has come from the more "intellectual" end of the media spectrum in Ireland, with several writers almost having nervous breakdowns in print. To these emotionally incontinent scribes all we can say is calm down, it's not going to be that bad.GAGE SKIDMORE / FLICKR

Let's all take a very deep breath. Certainly a lot of people in Ireland need to.

The Donald Trump triumph has seen an unprecedented outpouring of disgust, despair and fury from media commentators in Ireland over the past week. This has included predictions that America is doomed, that human rights there have been set back 50 years, that global security is in peril ... and that's just the start of it. It's the end of civilized society, it seems.

Some of the most fraught reaction has come from the more "intellectual" end of the media spectrum here, with several writers almost having nervous breakdowns in print. To these emotionally incontinent scribes all we can say is calm down, it's not going to be that bad.

We're all horrified, but ridiculing Trump and, even worse, patronizing his supporters (they're not "college educated" like us) is not going to get us anywhere.

The media in America are equally aghast, but at least some of them have been trying to figure out how they got it so wrong, instead of just having a whinge-fest. Here, it's simply been an orgy of superiority and derision, with each writer trying to sound more nauseated and outraged than the next.

Of course some of this is understandable. The crude, offensive language used by Trump during the campaign, the name calling, the simplistic slogans (Build the Wall, Lock Her Up, Drain the Swamp, etc.) lowered the election to a depth never before plumbed in a presidential race.

But some of the commentators here who have been most horrified by the Trump victory are now playing the same reductionist game, using simplistic labels instead of a thorough analysis of what was being said.

So they refer to Trump as racist, misogynistic, xenophobic and half a dozen other unacceptable characteristics, often listed in a single sentence. But, despite what he said at various times on the stump, that is a simplistic reduction of what he was trying to articulate.

A big part of the problem with Trump is that, compared to someone like Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton, he is barely articulate. He expresses himself clumsily in disjointed phrases instead of in polished, nuanced sentences like a skillful politician.

Let's take the two most quoted examples. He thinks Mexicans are rapists and murderers and he wants to ban Muslims, so that makes him a racist twice over, right? Except that is not exactly what he said. He said some Mexicans who get into the U.S. turn out to be criminal, including rapists and murderers, and there has been a problem trying to remove them and keep them out, which is true. So he wants to build a wall (in other words have a secure southern border).

He said that banning Muslims from entering the country might be necessary "until we can figure out what the hell is going on," referring to an immigration system that has failed to identify radicalized individuals from a Muslim background who might pose a threat to Americans.

I think Trump just got BUSTED!??

"Trump caught on tape making crude, s*xually aggressive comments about women"
'I don’t even wait,' he said — and bragged about how he would 'grab them by the p---y.'
By SHANE GOLDMACHER, ANNIE KARNI and NOLAN D. MCCASKILL 10/07/16 08:18 PM EDT Updated 10/07/16 09:45 PM EDT

Donald Trump bragged about groping, kissing and attempting to have sex with married women — and said he was entitled to do so because he’s a “star” — in a private tape published on Friday that threatens to envelop, if not sink, his candidacy just days before his second presidential debate with Hillary Clinton.
“I don’t even wait,” he boasts, as he talks about groping at women’s genitals.
“And when you’re a star they let you do it,” Trump says to Billy Bush of “Access Hollywood” in a clip from 2005 that was first published by the Washington Post late on Friday. “You can do anything.”
“Whatever you want,” an off-camera voice that appears to be Bush replies.
“Grab them by the pu**y,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”

For it is written: "For YOUR SINS/WRONG DOINGS will SURELY find you out." This is why its so very important that Trump and everyone check their OWN sins/wrong doings BEFORE he/they try to judge and condemn others about their sins/wrong doings. Trump didn't sweep around his OWN front door BEFORE he tried to sweep around Bill Clinton's back door bringing up all Bill's 25 year old past sins and wrong doings of adultery. Bill has repented of his sins before God, but Trump say he has no need to repent or apologize for nothing he says or has done to others or to God.

Now, Trump and his surrogates are trying to do damage control by saying this happened 11 years ago... well Bill's transgressions happened over 20-25 years ago, but Trump still felt a need to bring up all this mess about Bill's adultery to try and win. Fair is fair if Trump can play the game so can others, but we know that's not how Trump works.

People like using the phrase JUDGE NOT" but they tend to forget the rest of this Scripture passages that says, the reason WHY you shouldn't judge or condemn others, if you TOO have past sins and wrong doings and especially, if you have not repented of them.

WRONGFULLY Judging Others Matthew chapter 7: “Do not judge, so that you may not be judged. For with the same judgment you make on others you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get. Why do you see the speck in your neighbor’s eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye?"

Romans chapter 2:"Therefore you have no excuse, whoever you are, when you judge others; for in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, are doing the very same things. You say,“We know that God’s judgment on those who do such things is in accordance with truth.” Do you think, whoever you are, that when you judge those who do such things and yet you do them yourself, you will escape the judgment of God? Or do you despise the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience? Do you not realize that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? But by your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. For he will repay according to each one’s deeds: to those who by patiently doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; while for those who are self-seeking and who obey not the truth but wickedness, there will be wrath and fury. There will be anguish and distress for everyone who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek, but glory and honor and peace for everyone who does good, the Jew first and also the Greek. For God shows no partiality."

A Gift To All South Africans.

Last night, while everybody was celebrating Valentine’s Day, we received the biggest Valentine’s gift we could ask for. Under immense pressure Jacob Zuma resigned as president of South Africa. applause

At about 10 PM former president Jacob Zuma addressed the nation, at least the part who was near TV sets, to announce his resignation. In a national television address, Zuma said he had "come to the decision to resign as president of the Republic with immediate effect". cheering

This is rich. He decided to abdicate! He had no choice. He was facing impeachment and a forceful eviction. At least he sort of admitted to that when he said "I have only asked my party to articulate my transgressions and the reason for its immediate instruction that I vacate office." I would have expected that he would know this; the press is full of it. Oh yes, I forgot He had no formal schooling, so reading may be a bit of an obstacle.

In an earlier TV interview on the same day, he said he had received "very unfair" treatment from the party he joined in 1959 and for which he had fought for decades against apartheid. Well, at least this part was more or less true although I don't know if it was unfair

He further expressed his anger over "the manner in which the decision is being implemented... I don't agree as there is no evidence of if I have done anything wrong." Now this is priceless; no evidence. He has a dossier that will put Encyclopaedia Britannica to shame.

There are no jubilations in the streets as was the case in Zimbabwe but we are holding our breaths in quiet optimism. We are not expecting miracles overnight but rather hope that our new president will improve our image and restore some credibility overseas. doh

And we are speculating about the future of Jacob Zuma. Just like Mugabe, he also tried to get his wife (one of the six) in power to protect him. Will he now, at last, be held accountable for his deeds in the past? We don’t know but if the new president and The ANC won’t interfere, he is going to have big problems. Cyril Ramaphosa has no love for Jacob Zuma but we don’t know what they may be up to in order to preserve unity within the ANC.mumbling

All in all, everybody appears to be fairly happy with getting Ramaphosa as our leader and we’re all hoping that he will live up to expectations. wine
