I against explosions

My respect by all. Today I read some blogs, about Muslims and terrorism. Sad subject. Unfortunately, it is favorable to someone that people were at war, old men and children perished.
On a question of terrorism and Islam one German Muslim told:
Who began World War I? Muslims?
Who began World War II? Muslims?
Who killed about 20 million Natives in Australia? Muslims?
Who sent nuclear bombs to Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Muslims?
Who killed more than 100 million Indians in North America? Muslims?
Who killed more than 50 million Indians in South America? Muslims?
Who took about 180 million Africans as slaves from whom 88% died, and were thrown into the Atlantic Ocean? Muslims??
Who rushed into Afghanistan, Palestine and Iraq, killed more than 1000000 people there?? Muslims?
No, they weren't Muslims! At first, you have to define terrorism correctly. If not the Muslim does something bad is a crime. But if the Muslim makes too most - he is a terrorist."
Let people will think - who actually is terrorists.

well done...

..so we oust Saddam, and his cronies, to free the Iraqi people, leaving Iraq wide open for all these nutters, actually being run by Saddams old army generals, we then oust Gaddafi..much the same.

Now we have all these people risking their lives in boats running away from their homes in Libya, or be slaughtered.

Well done bush and blair..I appalled you..who have you actually freed, except the evil ones.

Anger, How Do You Handle It

Lately on the blogs there seems to be a lot of anger among our blogging family. I ran accross this and wanted to share this.

Anger turns into resentment, resentment turns into bitterness, bitterness turns into unforgiveness, unforgiveness turns into a defiled conscience. Pretty soon, we become captives of our own anger.

Anger is nothing more than a sophisticated version of a temper tantrum. Just because we can define it with eloquent speech doesn't mean it is any more justified. We are still mad that we can't get what we want. And our anger overflows out of us and defiles everyone around us.

Instead of nursing, rehearsing, conversing about, and dispersing our anger, we need to reverse our anger before it hurts us and others!

How do you reverse anger? You do it with forgiveness, loving kindness, and tenderness. You go to the person toward whom you have directed your anger, and seek forgiveness!thumbs up

I might add that besides seeking forgiveness, you might want to throw a hug in there!hug

All About The Niqab

This is documentary is about the veil worn by women of the Muslim faith...not too long ago this woman called N.S. was asked to remove the niqab in court...even the Prime Minister became involved...does she have the right to practice face covering here in Canada when it comes to court proceeding and citizenship?...is this really about feminism...ensuring that women are equal and not subservient...or is it more about being fearful of Muslims since ISIS made its presence known...here is this young woman's perspective on it and the battle in court for her to continue wearing her niqab...
What are your thoughts?...

It's Hot out today...

It is "HOT" outside today... especially right here at "high noon"...

Been out rearranging my garden, moving the containers around to different positions. Now you understand why I choose to use containers/pots VS planting in the ground. It would be a lot more work to rearrange them if in the ground. (DUH)!

Anyway, decided to line my roses along each side of the area 24ft X 24ft (a row of them,10 on each side). There is a reason for that!

And you say: "What, pray tell would persuade you cuz, ever to do such a thang, if'n they were ok where they were at?"

I say: "Cause my cuz, with tha sprinkler I have, I can now better control the spray pattern of the watering mechanism. Known to us Southerners as "ad-just-ments"....

And you say: "Humm... [well, hug my momma, and make me a mater sammich] what is so important in controlling the pattern?"

And I say: "Well cuz..., it's like this here, i've learned that watering the foliage/leaves of the rose, enables the risk of fungus, dark/black spots, yellowing of leaves and parasites that damage the plant over time. The watering process should be localized, by watering only at the base of the plant. Hence, I rearranged them outside the watering pattern of the sprinkler, so the leaves don't get wet, and the rest of the community of plants/flowers, within the center of the area, can now receive their water with no risk to the roses."

OK, class is over for now... haha!! Everyone have a great Mother's Day! ~JOHN~

I Like This

Lisa Beamer was on Good Morning America - If you remember, she's the widow of Todd Beamer, who said 'Let's Roll!' and helped take down the plane over Pennsylvania that was heading for Washington, DC back on 9/11.

She said it's the little things that she misses most about Todd, such as hearing the garage door open as he came home, and her children running to meet him.

Lisa recalled this story: "I had a very special teacher in high school many years ago whose husband died suddenly of a heart attack. About a week after his death, she shared some of her insight with a classroom of students. As the late afternoon sunlight came streaming in through the classroom windows and the class was nearly over, she moved a few things a side on the edge of her desk and sat down there. With a gentle look of reflection on her face, she paused and said, 'Class is over, I would like to share with all of you, a thought that is unrelated to class, but which I feel is very important.

Each of us is put here on earth to learn, share, love, appreciate and give of ourselves. None of us knows when this fantastic experience will end. It can be taken away at any moment. Perhaps this is God's way of telling us that we must make the most out of every single day. Her eyes were beginning to water as she went on; 'So I would like you all to make me a promise. From now on, on your way to school, or on your way home, find something beautiful to notice. It doesn't have to be something you see, it could be a scent, perhaps of freshly baked bread wafting out of someone's house, or it could be the sound of the breeze slightly rustling the leaves in the trees, or the way the morning light catches one autumn leaf as it falls gently to the ground. Please look for these things, and cherish them. For, although it may sound trite to some, these things are the "stuff" of life. The little things we are put here on earth to enjoy. The things we often take for granted.

The class was completely quiet. We all picked up our books and filed out of the room silently. That afternoon, I noticed more things on my way home from school than I had that whole semester. Every once in a while, I think of that teacher and remember what an impression she made on all of us, and I try to appreciate all of those things that sometimes we all overlook.

Take notice of something special you see on your lunch hour today. Go barefoot. Or walk on the beach at sunset. Stop off on the way home tonight to get a double dip ice cream cone. For as we get older, it is not the things we did that we often regret, but the things we didn't do .

If you like this, please pass it on to a friend. Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."

GOD Bless you every day of your life! The nicest place to be is in someone's thoughts! The safest place to be is in someone's prayers, and the very best place to be is....In the hands of God!

HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!
