sometimes you miss talking to people who left your life...
Be part of the future, depart from the past.
In the poem Missing You, the poet Ramaking follows the tradition of the minstrels, the poets wanderers, belonging to the Middle Age in France, Portugal and Spain. This tradition was brought later to Brazil with the Portugueses in the colonial period. As a rule, in a dramatic tone, the minstrel describes the loss or departure of a loved one. This tendency was incorporated in the center of Brazil by the "caipiras" , regional country singers that ended up becoming a popular phenomenon of the Brazilian music. Truly speaking, the roots of the minstrels can be traced to the Classical Antiquity and in epics like Iliad and Odyssey from Homer.
Infidelity begins with, and is perpetuated through, lies.
This poem emanated from a real life incident the betroth called and shared her loneliness and how much needed him near hear in the hour of darkness and desparation.
Fond memories...
In my mind's eye, when I looked at what should have been our "holding hands" ... I saw that yours had silently released its hold , like mute falling pearls let go from its strand of gold ... Loved you too truly to make any deman
Love can die for different reasons. Two reasons are the physical loss of a loved one and the emotional loss of a 'once-loved' one. Both can be traumatic.
I wrote this 3-7-2022. A Word To The Wise is the title I've been working on for over a month or so by different forms of writing it. The song is about a girl I once dated back in school and on Easter week vacation I vanished into the night and completed my grade without anyone knowing of my intentions on leaving. Over the years she found faith in God and I just do Rock-n-Roll/ Heavy Metal.
Just thoughts
To the story in the Lord of the Rings trilogy that mattered most to a romantic like me. Inspired by the film's brief reference to Arwen's own demise, a year after Aragorn chose it was time to forever sleep and cease his long life ... They could have made, in my opinion, a film on the Tale of Aragorn and Arwen (Appendice A in Return of the King Book).
We can try our best.... like I really do .... But it seems , many times, the one we most badly want, we simply don' t get to keep ... And with a heavy sigh, before the ache gets to feel too deep, that hopeful heart is, once more,

Three quatrains, the last two lines of each borrowed from T.S. Eliot's “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.” https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poetrymagazine/poems/44212/the-love-song-of-j-alfred-prufrock
Daddy wont you keep me safe, daddy wont you keep me safe, Im only two, I depend on you, daddy wont you keep me safe. Daddy, please dont walk away, daddy stay with me today, daddy dont go, I love you so, daddy please, dont you know?
humming Leonard Cohen's tune I penned some lines
Lost love, dead marriage, loathing her husband and pretends to love him for that night and drinks herself to sleep until she floats away. Grasping at straws before the final end.
This is a reflection of keeping yourself pure for someone for six years and then they moved on.
Personal reflections in the gloom of a rainy day.
Is it merely a poem that I love writing I love riding poems are at least expressing palms I'm also a philosopher of life I believe in things that may be and may not be I look at things in straight eyes and not I don't wear Rose colored glasses I see things the way they are some people look at things in a positive way and some people look at things in a negative way this is what makes us all different and great ways if no one really understands negative and positive always attract their selves no matter what you cannot put a positive positive together they just won't work if you're a magnet but if you flip them over and try to put them together they will stick together so hard that it's very hard to pull them apart life is like a magnet you have to be attracted to each other to be able to make it work

It denotes life, nature, a relationship between complexities of the world, and how in the end, all the mind and heart craves for is peace and love wherever it is being offered.
Little did I realize ... it was the last hug ... the last kiss ... Whenever I look back, it is something I will still miss ... Though I've become much wiser , more self certain ... and stronger to deal with whatever pain ... there will alway
