An attempt at sonnet and Master Fellsman's valuable advice. I miss the time how it used to be and poets who left this corner very much. Hope they are coming back some time! Thank you, Master Fellsman, once again!

Just another translation of a young poetess - wonder what's wrong with me! Love is not that easy, one can be severely tested by love and succumb to desperation or come out a victoriously free soul ready to take another chance. Life is short, better not succumb, but keep trying to be happy! Tatiana Snezhina was born in Ukraine, she lived in Moscow and died in the city of Novosibirsk. She became famous in Russia after her tragic death in a car accident on August 21, 1995. She was very young when she died, only 23 years old, she wrote over 200 poems that are still used by Russian pop singers in their songs.
At the time of this writing, I was feeling very remorseful to a young woman I was in communications with. The poem may sound misleading as if I had been unfaithful but that wasn't what I was trying for. I was not trusting enough when I was speaking with this young woman, and I realized how accusatory my words chosen were. I was uncertain of her honesty, and I lost her favor. I wrote this as an apology.
This is what Tsisperi Trio (Blue Trio) is singing about. Listen to the music and follow the lines in English, and hope you will really enjoy the music! Happy New Year, my dear poets!
There may come a time When memory of places that we used to be Fade away and die like last years autumn leaves I will close my Eyes I still see your shinning smile and in my heart I will be with you once more
Outside my broken window, the light begins to fade ... at least that's how the evening tide makes it seem... I look into my closed mind , to see if I can walk the night ... to bridge the gap , to keep close to me , the warm, life giving light..
Afanasy Fet (1820 —1892) - a renowned Russian poet regarded as the finest master of lyric verse in Russian literature. A romantic song of the same name is attached. Translated the lyrics of the romance. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, dear poets!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJdWqTze2WU
Compare myself a little lonely and stressed from people fall in love eith objects more in a relationship than their soul mate and start getting disconnected from the spiritual source of love.
I had a fling the other night, and now she won't answer her phone, I best forget and "look for love elsewhere".
dark dull agony inside, always like a companion
Simple words have a deep love story
These things happen to the best of humanity! Somewhere in this is a good country love song!
Within the pails of shattered dreams, the lies of tongues, twisted and foul. Beneath the tears of molten streams, the jest of minds, riven with scowl. Does it matter anymore? Straight into my heart's descent, far below a life's ascent. What

Today someone asked me "what does it take to be a poet?" & I, feeling flippant, (because I am wearing an 18th century dress & think myself in love), answer: "determination, talent, & the desire to have your soul torn out &
Wish you could know, it's profound to see. The secrets, the pain, that's all you can read? In the darkest of night, what do you perceive? The remnants of a man, destroyed for the thrill? The scars of a father unable to heal? You look in my e
I wanted to write this for my wife who passed away suddenly after a short illness, cos i want to tell her once more, that i love her, but i cant cos shes gone away now forever.
Love again - there's no escape from it! Another translation of our Georgian poet. This must have been his first love - as it seems from the poem, but we all could relate, the most cherished and poignant memories are with the first love - no other love could compare!
Oh for a candle I could light to draw you close... Oh for a poppet made like you, with your own lovely body sewn again of cloth, with your own pale unseeing eyes, with your manhood sweetly curving, remade in wax or clay.... Oh for an herb
I'm sure the readers of this piece can feel it, know why it was written. It's from the book Humanity (Deep Between The Lines of Spoken Words). That was then...the past.
True story about my first real love affair when I was twenty four.
Dreams that haunt me
Not the same Now that he's gone. Not the same without his love. It's like I'm empty inside I just wanna crowl and die. Why did you leave me? If you was all I ever had Why did you abandoned me? When i needed you by my side.
I think the poem explains why i wrote it
Wrote this to inspire myself when i became single again
In return for the love, the love I had for you, you stabbed me in the chest, an attempt to pierce my heart. You must've planned it well, deep inside your tiny shell, and although I live, to dine within this hell, I stand alone, waiting to rebe
Sitting in a steamy spa, my mind was firmly fixed on slowing down just long enough to block out the pain of loosing a loving friend. If you can imagine loosing your best friend, lover and partner for what you perceived as a life time; then you can i
Roaming the county just to see if there was anyone there to amuse me Choices were slim, faces few then lo and behold, I saw you. A familiar face looking back at me with deep, dark eyes that make it hard to breathe. In real life we weren't
I Wrote This Poem About 10yrs Ago, When I Found Out My Boy Friend At That Time Had Cheated On Me Not Once, Twice, Third but Four Times.....
The smell of rust reminds me of that home that belong to us, now its juts dust, that night my heart died when from my dead heart a frozen Angel depart, I leave this forsaken world, in search of a new start, I always strive for the never shining light
I walk along the street And I'm blue and lonely. My childhood hurts this love For my one and only. Searching other's eyes For love's deep abyss. The ocean in my soul Drowns in a stranger's kiss. I'm lost without a woman Directionless a
I trusted someone until i learned he went behind my back and wrote lies. Now i'm standing ?? up for myself. Thanks, pink.
I wrote this back in February, shortly after Valentine's Day, when I found out my girlfriend at the time was unfaithful.
* stunner, Aussie slang for extremely good-looking woman.
Memories of you and me tumbled for free inside me We met over Google without a doodle We talked through glass Sun was shining on our grass We swam in our words Music played without chords We flew through the universe Slowly a dark green
I send this as an e-mail to a Lady some years back, who had been very important to me in a relationship, that broke up after 5 months under the same roof. Her answer was very short, "what remorse"
Seismic waves of tears flooded my eyes I slept on a bed of lies Tremors shake each corner of my bleeding heart You gave me a heartbreak tart Blood-screams climbed out of my throat I was on a twisted-thorn boat Tsunami waves of pain slashed th
Stood in the desert Hot chocolate memories exert Screaming words played before me Felt like a calendar escapee Everywhere trumpets were singing their song I’ve been captured by a bee throng I grasped at an empty hole The years stopped rock
Looked through blues mist Heard the ego of your voice in my dreams Saw your shadow in our secret places Your voice caught me Fire of hate burned like spice tea Why didn’t I listen to the voices of warning The snake at the back of your voice
Glass of snow didn’t glow brightly in your voice There was no Poppy of choice You were in a fog You let me sink into a bog Leaves were falling from the trees Wind was blowing your name to the vampire centuries Your words were silk snakes
