Wispy Wisdom of Gaia

A moonlight hand beckons; invisible to the eye
Its wispy gnarled hand of mystic miasma stretches out to grasp
A leafy bough but but misses... the leaf swirls to the floor
As fairies dance amongst the collective gathering of the leaves
They parry and splash in the puddles, getting soaked, from
The incoming drops of rain that soldier down intending to break
Free from the oncoming onslaught of earthly tears that cause
Deverstation, humilitation and frustration to the occupants
Of the land, with foresight, Thor in his artful wisdom, brows raised watched as the heavens' opened, and Lightning strikes, venomously across the field, targeting the old oak tree
That the faeries love and bless magickally in honor of the the Deities, which have risen before thee, softly spoken in the hidden
Mysteries of Life and Death that have bowed to make ends meet
And to give answers to the questions that have arisen regardless
Of those that connect by the rhythmic beating heart of the Earth ??

Magic

We all have a bit of magic,
Coming from within,
You can see it twinkle in an eye,
or a wicked little grin.

Think of all the people,
For whom life is so grim.
they drag themselves from day to day,
with no vigor and no vim.

Just living in the moment,
Makes life a thrilling ride.
Life begins anew each day,
like the changing of the tide.

Don't ever let life grind you
Down to a lifeless bone.
let your inner magic lift you,
before all your dreams have all flown.

Live life as an adventure,
every second filled to the brim.
If you live life just for the moment,
Pure magic will shine from within

Amber Hawkes and the Dragon's Fire

Red hair worn in plaits, always with a smile.
Amber Hawkes, the female wizard with a spellbook on her hip
Her eyes meet with the dragon's glare, and she's ready for the fight
No fear in her heart, her magic will ignite

Amber Hawkes, with her spells of fire and ice
She'll take on any challenge, and she won't think twice
Through the trials and the flames, she'll emerge victorious
For Amber Hawkes is the hero, always glorious

The dragon's breath was fierce, its flames were hot
But Amber's magic shielded, and she fought with all she's got
The battle raged on, as the dragon continued to roar
But Amber's spells were stronger, and she couldn't be ignored

Amber Hawkes, with her spells of fire and ice
She'll take on any challenge, and she won't think twice
Through the trials and the flames, she'll emerge victorious/ For Amber Hawkes is the hero, always glorious

The dragon let out a final roar, as it fell to the ground
Amber stood victorious, with no need to look around
For the spell book on her hip, and the magic in her soul
She's Amber Hawkes, the wizard, and she's unstoppable

Amber Hawkes, with her spells of fire and ice
She'll take on any challenge, and she won't think twice
Through the trials and the flames, she'll emerge victorious
For Amber Hawkes is the hero, always glorious.

Summer Fairies

With horse chestnut leaf wings,
and the softest light steps;
by old willows still pond,
came the granting of dreams.

To a secret walled garden,
they danced with raised knees;
fair sylvan fairies,
following soft summer seeds.

Around old verdant paths,
to the bearded moss bench;
skipped the winged dyad daughters,
under a sky without tears.

'To Pooh-stick Bridge',
one young daughter then cried;
with a twirl of her hem
and wave of her wand.

Down the woods sun dappled path,
alongside the chuckling stream;
guided by the small hand,
of the fairest fairy queen,

Journeyed three searching
for the pixie-up-sticks,
A small one; and a short one;
and a knobbly one still on the tree.

With horse chestnut leaves still,
and the softest lights stepped;
from their own Pooh-stick bridge,
came the descending until,

To the other side all excited,
they whirled round to see;
All shinny faced fairies,
until winners counted three.

Around pine cones and acorns,
over blades of lighted grass;
flew the leafing winged sisters,
under a sky without loss.

But someone old and summer passing
broke the enchantment that day;
and their wands went in the rubbish;
and cried for wings dried away.

A Beautiful Day

Oh! it's a lovely beautiful day
which makes me all happy and gay
It comes with the crimson morn
and then takes me to the heavenly sojourn
The sun is shining in clear blue sky
it's beyond my thinking, up and high
This is the day of everyone's choice
who is that who does not rejoice?

Brandobaris and the Dragon Part Three

Brandobaris just stood
holding his sisters stalk of wheat
And the dragon breathed in
And the dragon breathed in
and in and in and in
and then?

The dragon breathed out breath of fire
But Brandobaris was no longer staning there
For he had flipped up in to the air
To Land down on the old reds back
Such an elegant jump what a leap
A somersault with half twist, landing firmly on his feet
An Arm raised up holding high his sisters stalk of wheat
And then he began to Whack
whack wack whack
went the stalk of wheat
all allong the side of the dragons hide
and it knocked him off his feet

Crack Crack Carck
The wheat stalk seemed to sing,
and although it tried the dragon could not fly
as Brandobaris beat his wings

smack smack smack
again and again and again
till the dragon had to run away
for it could not stand the pain

From the cave to the valley all the way down
Whiping the crying dragon in to the town
and all of the Hin there gathered round
for of that dragon they had no more fear
Brandobaris told the Dragon leave and soon
if you ever came back. I'll beat you with my Mothers broom
And unlike my sisters wheat stalk it will put you in a tomb.
The dragon flew away, and all the Hin folk gave a cheer

What of the Dragon treasure? you may all ask
the towns folk had a skeaking task
All Part of the plan now unmasked
It involves a secret door
The Game was so Brandobaris could disstract
while Hin snuck in the cave behind the dragons back
they loaded on treasure took it away in sacks
of what he stole they got back ten times more

So the celerbration party did begin
Lasting for a week or more. You know's us Hin
But in joy there was some Sorrow remembering lost Kin
But they knew they'd all meet again someday
To the hero of the Hour they gave many many grand toasts
They filled him up with pie and beer they were the perfect hosts
before the party was over They had laid away all ghosts
But by then Brandobaris had quietly slipped away

Now along a dusty road bestrides
Mischief twinkling in his kind eyes
Under curly brown hair a face so wise
with a knowing little grin
Allthough not thin not roly-poly,
whistling a tune so Jolly
You could not be melancholy
there goes a very merry Hin
