Dawn

They sky,
A delicious poem
Of colors …
Art’s a spread carpet…
Chirp chirp, tweet, tweet
Goes the bards chorusing…
Morn’s fonts glisten
The sky as aesthetic
Abstracts…
Feelings now
Are a fruit of joy…
She woke me
Up with sweet words
On Skype …
Morn caresses the soul
As a beatitude of music …
A poet tunes to
The music of morn ….
Writing its lullaby
As poetic verses…

Beloved

Darling
dear beloved ...
You are love's
passionate echo....
Let me embrace
you with the
sweet nectar of love....
Let me kiss your lips
with a lover's passion....
I love you so much,
so much as the
night's lovely star ...
You have become
so fond to me.....
Be my beloved
for the rest of my life.

Dusk

Evening sky—
Stained glass—
Like a pale dream—
Poetry waltzes
On wings as
Ballet dancers—
Sky opened to me
Like a body of a woman—
My thoughts are
Veiled with the
Colors of the sky—
I dream of Bali—
I dream of her love—
Want to be nourished—
Clouds part as a guitar—
There now, a fierce
Dragon is spitting fire—
The sky a song of music
To me now.

Raven

You black poem—
You enchanting mystery—
Saw you with beak open—
Have you tidings for me—
You death’s enigma—
You fed Elijah in the desert—
My thoughts on you—
Focused as a poem—
You bring solitude
To my hazy broken heart—
You are my sunshine in
My darkest winter—
You bring out the
Devil of passion in me—
Let me pour out
Heart’s angst –
Take me to my grave
With hearty mirth.

Dusk

Dusk
Dusk’s a floating
Opera …
Orange hues
Are soaked petals
And linger as a
Painter scattering
A hazy abstract…
Time’s a music
Of mediation…
I am fond of
Nature …
It’s a metaphor
Of solitude…
My lover for her
Awakens like a dove…
Would have loved
An evening with her…
Love echoes the
Evening as a poem …

Dawn

Dawn opened
Her colored veils—
The sun is echoing
A dream.
The sky is a poetic
Metaphor;clouds
Are melodious lakes—
There, a crater
Is opening—
Lava is pouring crimson—
Bards are gliding
Gently as
Aesthetic sculptures—
I am a poet at heart,
I am a bard of lyric’s
Soul.

raindance in the road

Blue sky, blue sky
she walked by my house
raindance in the road
never felt, never felt
so good

Walkin’ high, walkin’ high
she knocked my door
woah, diamond lights in my room
never felt, never felt
so good

Mmmm mmmm sweet girl
your purple ways
lovin’ days
raindance in the road
mmmm Lord
raindance in the road

True Meaning of Love

Love is like a game of Chess
The wrong move could cost you everything
Love is like conquering a Territory
If you leave that Territory sit for too long without care
It will be taken by someone else, Conquered
Love is like a secret that some can not tell
Love comes in many ways, shapes, and forms
Love is like a mystery
A mystery that is untainted and almost impossible to solve
Love is like a treasure that is lost
A treasure that can be hidden anywhere;
hidden so well that it could be right under you nose unnoticed
Love can be contagious
Contagious like a disease or a virus, spreading without notice or feeling
Love is like Nature
Its Beauty can be astounding but can also be devastating
Love can be like a rose
Its beauty is so eye catching
But with curiosity, a touch of its thorns can bring pain
Love is like a word with masked meanings
Meanings that can only be created by one's views, emotions, and experiences
Love is like a drug
It can cause great addiction and attachment if used in great amounts
Love is like the tongue
Like a knife, it can cut some of the deepest wounds without drawing a sign of blood
You might ask yourself what love is?
Love Is...Everything.

Lost For Words

Write of love,
I get told.
What to write,
I don't know.
Don't feel sad,
don't feel so bad.
Time will heal you,
still I'm so blue.

Tell me how,
to write about love.
My heart broke,
many years ago.

Time for me,
to get some sleep.
Fall in a heap,
before I weep.

Times spoken,
of being broken.
Sure, sit by me,
but please just don't speak.

I don't need to feel ashamed,
for not loving someone.
Just know I can't be blamed,
damage can't be undone.
So I'm angry and so sad,
I speak of a past that hurts.
I'm a gaping wound gone bad,
love destroyed me so I'm lost for words.

I've shut down,
I feel too numb.
I got so hurt,
I'm lost for words.

About this poem:
I write many lyrics. I struggle to write about love though. Always seems it should be easy when I read someone else's words, but finding my own never is.

Come Back Here With Me

Why have you disappeared,
see you're gone, though you're here.
It looks so dark in there,
what you see makes you scared.

Please can I just wake you up,
you look so terrified to me,
the door to your mind is shut.
Can I please just wake you up.

Your presence, crawls back in,
hurts when you, aren't with me.
You become, a blank canvas,
please come back, here with me.

Why do you go away,
to that far away place.
The torture shows on your face,
your chest shows your hearts at race.

What to do, what to do,
you won't let me help you.
Why won't you, why won't you,
won't you let me wake you.
I need you, I need you,
so just let me wake you.
