Cory Gardner (R) Senator from Colorado said today on "The Situation Room" with Wolf Blitzer, that the world is a safer place today with Saddam Hussein gone because he was a brutal dictator. Is he correct?

Yeah. It was Saddam Hussein trying to fly airplaes into buildings and blowing up marathons, and ethnic cleansing half of Syria and iraq and shooting up Charlie Hebdo, and Nigeria/save the girls and etc etc etc.
Cory Gardner sounds like a moron. Wolf Blitzer is a moron anyway, but that's beside the point.

Unless all the Republicans/Conservatives across the planet were to meet the same fate as Saddam, there's really no difference. There's always another thug to take over where the old one left off.

Wolf Blitzer likes to create his own wars in his
The Situation Room, is where he is planning to take over the world
arapaho: Very true, American government never seeks council from wiser country's,
mate, I read about the scenario of a United Islamic state in a fiction novel about 15 yrs ago! Think it was a Tom Clancy novel. Anyhow when the US took out Saddam I thought 'watch this space'! Sure enough! Now we have the nightmare scenario. Lotta sense and wisdom in the old saying 'divide 'n' conquer'

The Arab region was safer with the Stalinists at the helm because this is the best option for government considering the very limited attributes of the Arab race. Assad, Gaddafi and Saddam are all better than the alternatives. We should have stuck to the devils we knew.
hey hotburninlove, you seem like an intelligent fellow so it amazes me that you never learned such a simple reality that in order to engage in a productive debate, it pays not to insult and defame the name, intelligence, heritage, appearance, and manhood of your opponents leader. When you do that (and you never fail to) it only turns the discussion into an antagonistic argument and nothing meaningful is ever accomplished or worse, your comment is lost, and nobody reads what you have to say because they've heard it all so many times before. Do yourself a favor and stop acting like you're still in high school.

Actualities prove that, he controls everything in IRAQ while he was the head,, now, nobody can do the way he did ,, never ending conflict and it's spreading all over,, worst than what it was expected. In a political set-up like the middle east, let them do their job, they know more their people's mentality more than anybody else who pretends/predicts!!,,,

Syria, why nobody goes there now? Baschar el Hassad is worst that Sadam H. when we talk of dictatorship ,,, and terrorists are controlling an important part of Syria and moving forward in a speed that was unseen ,,,
Obstinance_Works: It was an absurd idea to remove them. However, Europeans have a history of making good on absurd ideas. Why less than two hundred years ago it was a bunch of European intellectuals who invented the idea of equality and the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness when 99.5% of Human history had been cannibals, oppressed minorities, tyrants and mass inequality. This was a ridiculous idea, a preposterous notion, but it worked!
Now I can't see these absurd moralising ideas catching on amongst the dark-skinned races outside of their immediate and animal self-interest: They don't vote for equality because they're moral, they vote for free money and weak police out of self-interest. And if the Leftoids had only managed keep the borders tight, the race white, and the culture bright then their own absurd ideas would have worked like the silly ideals of their more noble forebears.

former president Hussain of Iraq and ISIS and their little role in the history of gun industry would not inspire western people to monitor where the big capital is coming from. I have grown in a war while some huge capitals where getting formed in some other places in the world..the money comes from me being attacked as civilian. "wonderfull world"

From your very own point of view Strict: what is it that should be done to stop the war among cultures?
Is there a way to find a solution, so all the cultures can live in peace?

drug business earn 10 times more than normal business, gun business earn 10 times more than drug business, so, cultural conflicts would not come first when it comes to find a solution.

I do know that some people are wired and they do not care about people's life in countries different than theirs, because their world is so small but there must be a solution or two Strict and I would not give up on looking for it and find it.

the dynamism of history is not in the way to find a solution , it is about which groups could dominate the world ,it seems
