america isn't yet ready for his policies. bernie has some good ideas that i think can work but unfortunately he won't get the opportunity to put them into action. many believe his ambitions for the country would require a revolution. in many ways, it would be an experiment, but isn't that what a trump presidency would be as well? the two candidates are polar opposites and anti-establishment. it's no wonder the following each have in this divided country.
bernie may end up running against someone other then hillary if she is indicted. if an indictment comes down, vice president biden may enter the race as well as a possible run by former mayor of nyc bloomberg. bernie's grandiose vision for america will remain a fantasy for him and many of his followers regardless of who the other candidates are.

Stalin had some good ones too, can't think of any of them!
If I could just see a doctor without having to worry about going into debt. The insurance companies are ripping off people, why not take that stolen money and spend it on real health care, and get rid of all those commercials on tv for drugs worse than heroin.

1) there is money enough in the usa. 2) reduce the money does mean you lose power 3) the budget is usa is wrong at the moment. where bernie does not solve this. the other ones will not change it too. 4) the country has so many differences i don't think his general policy will work. new york is not iowa. parts of america are third world countries
purr4mance: a few ideas of his that could work in america...a tax on the transfer of financial instruments... this would hit high frequency traders but if gradually worked in, would hardly be noticed and would raise billions.
the breakup of too big to fail banks... banks are larger today than they were back in 2008 when they helped cause the great recession. separating the commercial side of the bank from the riskier side of trading, investing and playing with derivatives would make the banks safer and by default all of us.
more oversight and regulation of the "shadow banking" system. some inroads have been successful but more needs to be done with this time bomb that is a trillion dollar market. lobbyists in washington have continued to block any measure of constructive and comprehensive reform.so there you have it conrad. a few of his ideas that could work if a new congressional regime decided to keep the lobbyists from swaying their decisions and decided to work together and make the world a safer place and at the same time raise billions.
Bernie is about as clueless a Politician as they come!
