I don't think guns should be allowed in cities...but I do think most rural places, people do hunt...and have to protect themselves...not against people but some creatures like bears or mountain lions...I think Bernie is for gun control but understands the difference between rural life and city living...
I think there are US citizens out there that are questioning the sanity of those who think Trump is the answer...but we will see what happens...hoping for the Democrats to win...like Bernie at the helm...I hope the youth will vote and take this election seriously...fingers crossed...
As a fellow banned member of Jihad Jones' thread...truth is hard to stomach...when people question...they ban...
Some people are scum...not just Americans...there are bad apples in every bunch!!...lets just hope more Americans see the Donald as a opportunistic wind bag...just wants to win...doubt if he cares about anyone in particular...it is just a game to him...sad really...
I hope you are right...even if Hillary is indicted...someone like Biden will step in or Bernie will be accepted...all I can say is that your neighbour will be grateful if Trump is not triumphant...
I enjoy reading the comments or posting my opinion on different subject matter...but sometimes people can get quite nasty...but for the most part...it is a good place to meet people to engage in discussions whatever the topic...
I agree partially with you on both the democrat and republican debates. They've both been negative a lot of the time, but, the republicans definitely are at each other more, instead of focusing on issues. The democrats, however, are bigger liars, especially Clinton.
My first choice (Carly Fiorina) is out of the running so I'd like to see kasich, my governor, get the republican nomination. He's got more leadership experience than democrats and republicans combined.
I don't see leadership skills in any democrat candidate, just failed experience, especially Clinton. They practice socialism, especially the bern. That idea scares me. ear Unlike most other candidates, I think Trump's strings won't be pulled much by anyone while POTUS, except those attached to his pillow. He's not Washinton either, imo, so I believe he'll get my vote if Kasich is ever out of the picture.
Thanks for replying.....[/quote}
Well we may not see eye to eye on a few things but good to hear your point of view...no name calling just discussing the politics of the debates...too bad others cannot follow the same way...cheers!!
I dislike him because he is an ignorant hot head...he has no knowledge of foreign policy...has no plan just spouts ridiculous ideas...the wall and disrespecting other countries and their people...a reality TV person...no clue how the government runs...the list is endless...Canadians just shake their heads at the Republican debates...very childish...resorting to name calling...
The Democrat debates are the complete opposite...do not dwell on negativity...and just debate the issues at hand...
I am hoping that the younger people are going to turn out to vote no matter what side they choose...the voting turn out in your country has been poor...regarding younger folk...which may give the Democrats enough votes to win...since Trump has insulted Mexicans and women and Muslims...I am waiting for his big mouth to insult the Black American people...lol...
It seems that Jeb made some good points but the people have gone deaf...certainly a sensible politician in comparison to Cruz...lol..
Have no idea why this man would appeal to anyone...Cruz that is...I do feel sorry for Jeb...but electing three Bushes as the Republican head perhaps was too much...
What is more important is that Americans should respect their neighbors...as Canadians respect our neighbor the US...as for protecting our borders...Canada does have a military...however we are a small population in comparison and I doubt Canada would be in jeopardy due to our stance on peace...most of the noise is coming from the States...Canada would not participate in the Iraqi war without UN support...
Canada is not a super power but we do support our neighbor but that does not mean Canadians agree with every decision that the US makes...do we owe the US ?...not in my books...
I'm too old to pay taxes. Besides, Canada exempts USA pensioners from paying taxes on their unearned-income pensions.[/quote
That is interesting...many Canadians and Americans tend to go to Costa Rica or other cheaper countries to stretch their pensions...thinking about it when I retire...
The problem with moving to Canada...you will have healthcare, reduced tuition rates for education, big banks are controlled by the government...and you will pay higher taxes...Canadians like Bernie...
RE: WORLD’S MOST LITERATE NATIONS RANKED
And so you should...congrats...wish the US could say the same...
