I seek only to improve a situation...not create more strife...fear is not a good political move...the US hasn't accepted any more refugees...but Canada has...what is the difference between your experience and mine?...I am sure your opinion would differ if appropriate action was taken...there is always a bad apple in the bunch...establishing order and security made the difference...
Don't mean to sound harsh but having a conversation about fixing the problem includes helping the reduction of the influx of illegals...a conversation that needs to be addressed by the Presidents...
If people stop paying others under the table...the message would be very clear...say no to cheap labour...

We might differ in politics but what I have come to know that fear makes people react differently...so that is why I fear Trump as a candidate...also his wish is to win...he cares not for people...he has no idea of tact...which is needed to communicate with other diplomats...and then there is experience and education...not just looking at his twitter account...just the facts...
I tend to agree with you...Canada had its own reaction to Harper...too much doom and gloom views...and tried the fear mongering but lost...Trudeau is a reflection of our youth and our diversity...a voice of many thanks to him...funny how people react to change...
Bernie would make a good president...full of common sense...but as you have stated...his age maybe a deterrent...Cruz is a bit of a religious zealot but at least Trump lost...maybe his ego is a little more deflated...

Vancouver was shut down in 96 due to a huge snow dump...but I made lots of overtime...place of work was a few blocks away...no buses and no cars could make it in the snow...probably still had summer tires...lol...
Those cities that are affected by huge volumes of snow and blizzard like conditions have the necessary equipment and its people are knowledgeable in weather preparedness...
For those who live around Vancouver...you would be surprised how many are not prepared for even a small amount of snow...lol...
Glad I do not have to endure such cold weather anymore...and all that snow...
