Hold On Tightly To What Is Truly Important In Life

Hold on to faith; it is the source of believing that all things are possible.
It is the fiber and strength of a confident soul.
Hold on to hope; it banishes doubt and enables attitudes to be positive and cheerful.
Hold on to trust; it is at the core of fruitful relationships that are secure and content.
Hold on to love; it is life's greatest gift of all, for it shares, cares and gives meaning to life.
Hold on to family and friends; they are the most important people in your life, and they make
the world a better place.
They are your roots and the beginnings that you grew from; they are the vine that has grown through time to nourish you, help you on your way, and always remain close by.
Hold on to all that you are and all that you have learned, for these things are what make you unique.
Don't ignore what you feel and what you believe is right and important; your heart has a way
of speaking louder than your mind.
Hold on to your dreams; achieve them diligently and honestly.
Never take the easy way or surrender to deceit.
Remember others on your way, and take time to care for their needs.
Enjoy the beauty around you. Have the courage to see things differently and clearly.
Make the world a better place one day at a time,
and don't let go of the important things that give meaning to your life.

Looking for your face ... The most romantic poem!

So obviously I’m sharing this with you for three reasons:

* to delight you with some insightful piece of art
* to elevate you and your partner to a new level of understanding true love
* to remind you that the love in which you believed once still exists

So, no more talking, here it is the most romantic of all short love poems, enjoy:

Looking For Your Face

From the beginning of my life
I have been looking for your face
but today I have seen it

Today I have seen
the charm, the beauty,
the unfathomable grace
of the face
that I was looking for

Today I have found you
and those who laughed
and scorned me yesterday
are sorry that they were not looking
as I did

I am bewildered by the magnificence
of your beauty
and wish to see you
with a hundred eyes

My heart has burned with passion
and has searched forever
for this wondrous beauty
that I now behold

I am ashamed
to call this love human
and afraid of God
to call it divine

Your fragrant breath
like the morning breeze
has come to the stillness of the garden
You have breathed new life into me
I have become your sunshine
and also your shadow

My soul is screaming in ecstasy
Every fiber of my being
is in love with you

Your effulgence
has lit a fire in my heart
for me
the earth and sky

My arrow of love
has arrived at the target
I am in the house of mercy
and my heart
is a place of prayer

" The Voice Of Knowledge"

The following prayer is found in" The Voice Of Knowledge" by Don Miguel Ruiz and for me it is an important reminder to be greatful for my life which is a perfect creation. I cannot love others unconditionally if I don't express that same form of love to myself. We can create our own heaven or our own hell, it is all a matter of what we feel and believe about ourselves.

Prayer For The Creator

"Today, Creator, help me create the story of my life as beautifully as you create the entire universe.
Beginning today, help me to recover my faith in the truth, in the silent voice of my integrity. I ask you, God, to manifest your love through me in every word I express, in every action I take. Help me to make every activity in my life a ritual of love and joy. Let me use love as the material for creating the most beautiful story about your creation.
Today, God my heart is filled with gratitude for the gift of life. Thank you for the awareness that you only create perfection, and because you created me, I believe in my own perfection.
God, help me to love myself unconditionally so that I can share my love with other humans, with all forms of life on this beautiful planet. Help me to create my own dream of heaven, to the eternal happiness of humanity. Amen."

If You Want To Attract Love ...

Did you ever notice that angry people tend to attract other angry people? That greedy people, enjoy the company of other greedy people? Just like we choose to associate with people in our lives that have similar interests as we do, we are also unconsciously choosing people that are putting out that same emotional “frequency” as we do.

So, who cares? Well, you should. That is; if you are interested in “attracting” people into your life that are kind, caring, and loving, and not angry, bitter, and hateful.

It’s all about awareness. If you are attracting negative people into your life, it is most likely that you are putting out negative “energy”, and you are most likely doing that because you are feeling negative “emotions”. If you are aware of that, you can work on putting out more positive energy, by choosing to feel more positive emotions. It is really very simple.

Basically, perception is everything. Ten people will experience the same situation ten different ways. Not because it happened ten different ways, but because they perceived it in ten different ways. Just like the proverbial “glass is half ____”, what? What were you going to say? Full? Empty?

If we walk through life unconsciously, life will come to us the same way. But, if we choose to be conscious of our feelings and emotions, we can help attract the life we want. It isn’t an exact science. But, if you want to attract love into your life, be a loving person, have loving feeling, have loving emotions. Just by being conscious of your feelings and your emotions, you are altering the frequencies you are putting out into the world. So, think about it for a minute. What frequencies were you putting out today? Loving? Kind?

The good thing is, we control our own perceptions. Not much else though, you know how it is, we always feel we have no control over our lives. Well, that is because we really don’t have any control over our lives. However, how we “perceive” our out of control lives, that we do have control over. Not too much of a consolation, you say? Except that we can decide if we are going to be a happy, loving person or an angry, bitter one. That’s a pretty big deal.

Once you decide what type of person you are going to choose to be, then you will know what type of person you will attract into your life. Just like the “frequencies” on a radio, if you want country music, you need to find that frequency. If you want Pop or Rock music, but you keep tuning into the frequency that plays country, well you are going to get _____. Right, country. Once you find the right “emotional” frequency, others with that frequency will be attracted to you.

So, if you want to attract love…..you need to be a loving person. Start by loving yourself, being grateful for the things you have. Once you can do that, start replacing angry or negative emotions, with positive loving emotions. Choose your reactions to life and work and family, in a positive loving way. When the “frequencies” you are putting out change, what you will attract to yourself will also change.

A Lover's Call

Where are you, my beloved? Are you in that little
Paradise, watering the flowers who look upon you
As infants look upon the breast of their mothers?
Or are you in your chamber where the shrine of
Virtue has been placed in your honor, and upon
Which you offer my heart and soul as sacrifice?

Or amongst the books, seeking human knowledge,
While you are replete with heavenly wisdom?

Oh companion of my soul, where are you? Are you
Praying in the temple? Or calling Nature in the
Field, haven of your dreams?

Are you in the huts of the poor, consoling the
Broken-hearted with the sweetness of your soul, and
Filling their hands with your bounty?

You are God's spirit everywhere;
You are stronger than the ages.

Do you have memory of the day we met, when the halo of
You spirit surrounded us, and the Angels of Love
Floated about, singing the praise of the soul's deed?

Do you recollect our sitting in the shade of the
Branches, sheltering ourselves from Humanity, as the ribs
Protect the divine secret of the heart from injury?

Remember you the trails and forest we walked, with hands
Joined, and our heads leaning against each other, as if
We were hiding ourselves within ourselves?

Recall you the hour I bade you farewell,
And the Maritime kiss you placed on my lips?
That kiss taught me that joining of lips in Love
Reveals heavenly secrets which the tongue cannot utter!

That kiss was introduction to a great sigh,
Like the Almighty's breath that turned earth into man.

That sigh led my way into the spiritual world,
Announcing the glory of my soul; and there
It shall perpetuate until again we meet.

I remember when you kissed me and kissed me,
With tears coursing your cheeks, and you said,
"Earthly bodies must often separate for earthly purpose,
And must live apart impelled by worldly intent.

"But the spirit remains joined safely in the hands of
Love, until death arrives and takes joined souls to God.

"Go, my beloved; Love has chosen you her delegate;
Over her, for she is Beauty who offers to her follower
The cup of the sweetness of life.
As for my own empty arms, your love shall remain my
Comforting groom; you memory, my Eternal wedding."

Where are you now, my other self? Are you awake in
The silence of the night? Let the clean breeze convey
To you my heart's every beat and affection.

Are you fondling my face in your memory? That image
Is no longer my own, for Sorrow has dropped his
Shadow on my happy countenance of the past.

Sobs have withered my eyes which reflected your beauty
And dried my lips which you sweetened with kisses.

Where are you, my beloved? Do you hear my weeping
From beyond the ocean? Do you understand my need?
Do you know the greatness of my patience?

Is there any spirit in the air capable of conveying
To you the breath of this dying youth? Is there any
Secret communication between angels that will carry to
You my complaint?

Where are you, my beautiful star? The obscurity of life
Has cast me upon its bosom; sorrow has conquered me.

Sail your smile into the air; it will reach and enliven me!
Breathe your fragrance into the air; it will sustain me!

Where are you, me beloved?
Oh, how great is Love!
And how little am I!

Inside-Out Change

Perspectives on Inside-Out Change

It is the inside-out aspects of the change process that hold out the most potential for real change. Unless the individual takes personal responsibility to do something different, then change will not happen. Change requires action - knowing is doing. As a result change only happens now - in the moment - yesterday has gone and tomorrow never comes. Interestingly, inside-out chnage is is the least used and least understood of the four change dimensions. It's usually someone or something else outside ourselves that needs to change - not us.

When the "why change" question is asked, the top-down arguments, outside-in demands and bottom-up pressures tend to dominate the debate. But they often fail to address the fundamental issue, namely that it is people who make change happen though the way they think and the choices they make. Change is not about taking charge or taking orders, it requires internal dialogue, the acceptance of personal responsibility in making a shift one's own thinking and actions. It's about taking responsibility for our own choices and actions..

You choose how you spend your time, what you pay attention to, the ideas you generate, the knowledge you create, the passion and energy you bring to what you do, not to mention the networks and relationships you develop. These are your real change assets. Leadership for change is inspiring others to take responsibility and commit to doing things differently.

May you find

May you find serenity and tranquility
in a world you may not always understand.

May the pain you have known
and the conflict you have experienced
give you the strength to walk through life
facing each new situation with courage and optimism.

Always know that there are those
whose love and understanding will always be there,
even when you feel most alone.

May a kind word,
a reassuring touch,
and a warm smile
be yours every day of your life,
and may you give these gifts
as well as receive them.

May the teachings of those you admire
become part of you,
so that you may call upon them.

Remember, those whose lives you have touched
and who have touched yours
are always a part of you,
even if the encounters were less than you would have wished.

It is the content of the encounter
that is more important than its form.

May you not become too concerned with material matters,
but instead place immeasurable value
on the goodness in your heart.
Find time in each day to see beauty and love
in the world around you.

Realize that what you feel you lack in one regard
you may be more than compensated for in another.
What you feel you lack in the present
may become one of your strengths in the future.
May you see your future as one filled with promise and possibility.

Learn to view everything as a worthwhile experience.
May you find enough inner strength
to determine your own worth by yourself,
and not be dependent
on another's judgment of your accomplishments.

May you always feel loved.

What's a rainbow for?

I wish to have a heart like your own, dear God.

At times when all I care about is my own pain, let me be selfless because I am not.

At times when the world around me fumbles down, let me be steadfast because I am weak.

At times when I cannot bind the love ruined by anger, let me see hope because I am blind.

At times when the wounds are not healing, let me be healed because I am hurting.

At times when I look at the future and remains bleak, let me remember the rainbow you sent me because I often forget.

At times when people I love turn me down, let me find courage because I'm afraid to walk alone.

At times when all I hear are words that kill my soul, let me remain deaf because I want to protect the love I have in my heart.

At times when the cross that I carry weighs too much for me, let me rest because I too, get tired.

At times when anger provokes me and makes me a person of no worth, save me, because I want to be loved and worthy.

At times when I got broken, let me find the missing pieces of myself because I want to become solid again.

At times when I feel unloved, let me find solace because I need comfort.

And lastly Lord, at times when I am at the verge of losing my sanity, grant me wisdom and let me hear my heart because I want to know what is Your will for me.

I give these all up to You, Father. You have always weaved my life. I trust and love You above everything else.

Conversation with God

Bad news that not have to get you down.
It can actually to get you going.
The things that really matter in life
often become more clear to us when
we encounter bad news or bad luck.
We can use such moments to expand
our experience of our most precious
treasures: the people that we love.
Now maybe a wonderful time to get back
to basics, like board games with
your children, quiet talks with
your friends, a moment of gentleness
with the person that you love.

Some Reasons...

There are so many meaning of someone's life. Those meanings though are hard to understand and detected, people still searching for the meanings. I know that my life will only meaningful, when I realized the meaning of my life. Until then, I am still a wanderer in this one and only life. I won't feel sad even I still blur and have no clue about what my life will be. "All things happen for reason(s)" will be in my dictionary forever. And because of reason(s) that I will still live on and smile. :)

Most Beautiful Flower

The park bench was deserted as I sat down to read,
Beneath the long, straggly branches of an old willow tree.
Disillusioned by life with good reason to frown,
For the world was intent on dragging me down.

And if that weren't enough to ruin my day,
A young boy out of breath approached me, all tired from play.
He stood right before me with his head tilted down,
And said with great excitement, "Look what I found!"

Most Beautiful Flower

In his hand was a flower, and what a pitiful sight,
With it's petals all warn down-not enough rain, or to little light.
Wanting him to take his dead flower and go off to play,
I faked a smile and then shifted away.

But instead of retreating he sat next to my side,
And placed the flower to his nose and declared
with overacted surprise,
"It's smells pretty and it's beautiful too.
That's why I picked it; here it's for you!"

Most Beautiful Flower

The weed before me was dying or dead.
Not vibrant of colors, orange, yellow or red.
But I knew I must take it, or he might never leave.
So I reached for the flower and replied, "Just what I need."

But instead of him placing the flower in my hand,
He held it mid-air without reason or plan.
It was then that I noticed for the very first time,
That the weed-toting boy could not see, he was blind.

Most Beautiful Flower

I heard my voice quiver, tears shone like the sun,
As I thanked him for picking the very best one.
"You're welcome" he smiled and then ran off to play,
Unaware of the impact he's had on my day.

I sat there and wondered how he managed to see,
A self-pitying woman beneath an old willow tree.
How did he know about my self-indulged plight?
Perhaps from his heart, he'd been blessed with true sight.

Most Beautiful Flower

Through the eyes of a blind child, at last I could see,
The problem was not with the world; the problem was me.
And for all of those times I myself had been blind,
I vowed to see the beauty in life, & appreciate
every second that's mine.

And then I held that wilted flower up to my nose
and breathed in the fragrance of a beautiful rose.
And I smiled as I watched that young boy,
another weed in his hand,
About to change the life of an unsuspecting man.
