Pain

Let go of the past and focus on your dreams for the future. You’ve been carrying this pain for too long. The fact is, you can decide to be happy or decide to be sad. Which will it be?

Of course we’ll chose to pursue happiness, but will it be that easy to do that?

Well, we can say we want to let go the past, yet that past will still be there as vague memory any how. It will still be recalled whenever there’s something that relate to it, and we can’t just ignore it that easily. Letting go will not be the best choice, if I will be the one who decide. I will not let it go, because sometimes that pain will remind you that you are alive. That pain someday will turn out to be something you will appreciate and let you feel what is the real happiness is about. Even when that pain may lead you to the point that you feel unappreciated as human, or even that pain may make you lose everything you believe in, one day it will become something that shape who you will be. Will you become worse or not? It depends on how you deal with it. You will get the blast of courage once you know when to get up and appreciate yourself. You will realize that pain isn’t necessarily tear yourself apart. It just makes you getting stronger and stronger.You may appreciate the pain you’ve gotten through as you will not care about it anymore if that happens again. If you let it go, you will tell yourself, “let it go,” implies you won’t be that stupid to suffer from it again. But who knows, anything can happen. What if it came to you again? Will you have the courage to say “let it go..” again?

In other words, what I meant here is that we have to always bring this pain we have in the past with us, not to be defeated by it, but you just bring it along. So, as you encounter such pain again, you will remind yourself, you have defeated that pain before, why not this time? Wouldn’t this make you a stronger person?

Cute Joke

I 'm sure a lot of you have probably heard this one before but I just couldn't resist putting it on here. I love jokes of all kinds and love to share jokes too :) Nothing better than a good joke when you feel blah! Enjoy!


"There was a flight that had only four people on it - the pilot, a young boy scout, an elderly pastor and a scholarly looking gentleman. During the flight the pilot came back and said that they were experiencing engine difficulties and that the plane was going to crash. The good news was that they had parachutes, but the bad news was that there were only three.

Explaining that he had to make a full report of the situation to the authorities he quickly slipped on the parachute and jumped.

The scholarly gentleman stood up next and explained that he had studied at Oxford, Harvard, Yale and other such schools and that he was one of the most intelligent persons in the world. He said that the world needed his wisdom and great learning. So he grabbed a parachute and jumped.

The pastor considered his age and the fact that he had lived a full life and told the boy that he should use the last parachute. The boy scout calmly said, "Don't worry, we'll both be okay." The most intelligent person in the world just put on my backpack before he jumped."

A little boy goes to his father and asks: “Daddy, how was I born?”

The father answers: “Well son, I guess one day you will need to find out anyway!

Your Mom and I first got together in a chat room on Yahoo.

Then I setup a date via e-mail with your Mom and we met at a cyber-cafe. We sneaked into a secluded room, where your mother agreed to a download from my hard drive.

As soon as I was ready to upload, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall, and since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months later a little Pop-Up appeared that said:

how to have a happy marriage

Too often, couples believe marriage should be perfect right from the start.

If every minute is not filled with bliss and joyfulness then something must be wrong. Perhaps they married the wrong person, or they just, "fell out of love." Maybe they just need someone else to make them happy.

My observation is that those couples who truly have a happy marriage are those who weather the storms of life, who work daily to create happiness, and who give their love to their spouse.

A beautiful "soul-mate," type of marriage does not happen overnight, nor does it just happen.

These profound and deeply loving relationships are the result of years of dedication, commitment, support, care, nurturing, and love.

Like many desires in life, we often tend to want immediate gratification. We want things to be given to us. We like the idea of instant blessings, joy, and reward.

A truly successful marriage is not something that comes with the wave of a wand, or the blink of an eye. It doesn't come by wishes, dreaming, or pretending.

A beautiful marriage comes from compassion, commitment, understanding, determination, forgiving, and giving, giving, and giving. It comes from love.

A beautiful marriage does not just suddenly appear. It is created as it is lived.

A beautiful marriage is a masterpiece... it takes time.

Believe In Yourself

There may be days when you get up in the morning and things aren't the way you had hoped they would be ....that's when you have to tell yourself that things will get better.

There are times when people disappoint you and let you down,
but those are the times when you must remind yourself to trust your own judgments and opinions, to keep your life focused on believing in yourself and all that you are capable of.

There will be challenges to face and changes to make in your life,
and it is up to you to accept them.

Constantly keep yourself headed in the right direction for you. It may not be easy at times, but in those times of struggle you will find a stronger sense of who you are, So when the days come that are filled with frustration and unexpected responsibilities, remember to believe in yourself and all you want your life to be, because the challenges and changes will only help you to find the goals that you know are meant to come true for you.

A Creed To Live By

Don't undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others. It is because we are different that each of us is special.

Don't set your goals by what other people deem important. Only you know what is best for you.

Don't take for granted the things closest to your heart. Cling to them as you would your life, for without them life is meaningless.

Don't let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past or for the future. By living your life one day at a time, you live all the days of your life.

Don't give up when you still have something to give. Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying.

Don't be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect. It is this fragile thread that binds us to each other.

Don't be afraid to encounter risks. It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave.

Don't shut love out of your life by saying it's impossible to find. The quickest way to receive love is to give love. The fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly; and the best way to keep love is to give it wings.

Don't dismiss your dreams. To be without dreams is to be without hope; to be without hope is to be without purpose.

Don't run through life so fast that you forget not only where you've been, but also where you're going. Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored each step of the way.

Impossible Love

I love you but do you love me? I want you but do you want me?
Is this an impossible love, I asked myself and I took it to meditation and there I saw a flower that was dying of thirst, I saw a dark sky with not even a star, a desert with no water or life. And I thought: Love is like this flower that dies if not given to drink or like this night so dark where one cannot find the path because there is not even a star to guide. It can even be worse, like a desert with everything dead and where nobody can survive. Could it be that love is impossible? Then, a light came near me and without words said without saying:
” Love is so primordial and fundamental that existed before any being was born.”
Then, that light took me to see that the flower would die for lack of water and the light said without saying a word: ” Love is like that flower, if you don’t give it to drink, if you don’t take good care, if you don’t appreciate, then it will die for sure, but look, even if that flower dies, its essence will not die.” Then, I saw the dead flower but flying on top, I saw a beautiful and colorful flower, with bright colors and transmitting happiness.
Then, the light said without words:
“Now you can see its essence, which by being essence is sustained by a superior power which is more real now and death has not any power here. You saw the dark night with no stars but the next morning the sun will shine and there will be no darkness; you saw that desert where nothing could survive but if you travel beyond, there will be a rich and abundant oasis.
The impossible love does not exist because it will always be possible, it might not accept you, it might refuse, ignore, despise you. Nevertheless if it is true love it will be like the essence of the flower and nothing can extinguish it, nothing can ends it, nobody can humiliate it because love, love is eternal and there is no impossible because love is beyond the world and for that reason it is not ruled by its laws; love is beyond the answer, that love is free, pure, because in order to love is only necessary to Love.”

Reflection

We find Envy contemplating the light, while thinking: “I am better, more brilliant, with more brightness. Darkness is what dominates since it is a superior light.” And a compassionate Kindness approached and said: ” You do have light but it is neither of shadows nor of darkness, look inside you. And Envy said: ” You speak to me in riddles, wanting to confuse me since you only want to refer to that light that you called inner light. I will tell you that I only know the shadows as brightness.”
And Kindness replied with sublime compassion: ” My words are said not to confuse you but to make you understand. I want you to see the reality for a moment. Nobody wants to afflict you. On the contrary, we want you to see the true light.”
And she repeated: ” Look inside you, then.”
And Envy replied: ” I only see horror inside. The horror of seeing you walking high, so high that I cannot reach you; and this is the reason that I do not want to look at you.” and Kindness said again: ” Try just for a moment. Put aside every concept and idea. Just look inside you and do not judge, do not criticize. And a flower will be born there which is the true light. I do not want to contend with anybody, but rather to share something more than the wisdom, the essence of Love.”
Therefore, Envy, like trying to show off, looked inside and was instantly transformed, because Kindness won her heart and transformed her into the Inner Soul.
