The untold date gone wrong story.
About a year ago I went on a blind date with this woman. I met her on another dating site. One that you swipe till you reach your potential match. She requested that we go to Pizza Ranch. (I thought it was a strange place to go, but ok...) So we are at Pizza Ranch, and at first she was extremely pleasant. We talked about things we were interested in, and so on. She liked EVERYTHING I liked. I mean, my favorite movie was hers, my favorite book was hers, my favorite beer was ALSO hers, etc.
Everything was fine until she excused herself to the rest room. She was gone in excess of 15 minuets.(I remember this because a Pizza Ranch worker walking buy our table cracked a joke about my date leaving because I took her to Pizza Ranch.) This is when things started to go stale... I thought she was sick from the Pizza Ranch's synthetic pizza.
She finally returned after 15 plus awkward minuets. But something was wrong... She was extremely upset. Sobbing tears in amounts which you could fill an Olympic size swimming pool with. Naturally I was concerned thinking she was assaulted. I run up and grab ahold of her to help guide her to her seat so she doesn't trip and hurt herself. I give her my hat so she can mask her discomfort. Once I get her to calm down, I ask her what had happened. She was hesitant to answer me at first, but once she saw that I was ready to call the police (I was convinced she was assaulted.) she responded something along the lines of "You will reject me too." or "I always get rejected." I thought to myself, "What? She is absolutely gorgeous." I reassured her she was
At this point I was emotionally exhausted and wanted to go home. I take her home, she invites me in, I decline because I had work the next morning. She accuses me of lying to her and that I was trying to "escape her". What ever that means. I again reassure her by telling her I had a great time at that I would like to do it again sometime.(I hate lying... But... Emotionally exhausted...) Once I got home, I realized she accidently left her purse in my car. Ok, I can just return it tomorrow right? Wrong!
When I go to turn my phone off for the night my phone is blown up with text messages from her. "URGENT", "CALL ME", "YOU HAVE MY PILLS"... I immediately call her because I am concerned for her wellbeing thinking she may have missed a dose of her medication. I race across town to get her pills back to her. I ring her doorbell like crazy and wait like a half an hour. She comes to the door with a smile on her face and says "you really do care".
I ignored her calls after that...

The smartest thing you did was NOT to go inside her apartment, it would have been a huge mistake.

anyways I must be missing something here because I don't see whats the big deal
if anything, I feel sorry for the girl.
Maybe if you took time to get to know her/understand her you may of found reasons why she almost scared you off are not as scary as you perhaps had first thought.
Having said this, I'm not judging your actions as being wrong..... honestly I'm not
but as true as we get fooled/conned by them that first strike us as being maybe perfect for us, so is it true we loose out on possibly good relationships for not taking the time/the chance " as in going slowly" trying to get know someone first,without or before we judge them.
You don't need that kind of hysteria in your life. You would always be on the back foot, and would never be right no matter how much you do.
