Data and other junk

The death of a device. My laptop died the other day. A bunch of stuff locked in a box i can't access. It's like a time capsule of sorts. Now, I try to start again on an Android. It's like having a treasure chest, locked, without the key. Now, I read googl e plus will be deleting junk. My whole past, erased, if I can't recover the images. It's a race against time! I'm losing my shit oh dear!

I can understand your dilemma , as I moved from laptop to tablet and now I'm being told alsorts. Well keep your old thing and someone could unlock for you.

They also try for me to link phone and other devices together on tablet, that's a no no for me, I like to feel free not locked into one boxgrin

That doesn't help you though sorry hug

Bring it to a computer shop and ask if they can recover the files on the hard drive, it can usually be done easy enough.

And get a external hard drive. Everything you save to your computer, save a copy of it to your external so you won't lose anything if your computer dies. I have everything backed up.

Take your laptop to a computer service center. They will do forensics to copy photos and documents to a portable storage device.
