September.....

Here in the North, this month heralds you all know what. A time for reflection on the year and on the future, in mant traditions. Importantly, it also somehow feels so deep down, no?

That sounds like text from GOT.. here in the north... where is the real north.
Good point. Even with a well calibrated compass, anyone can miss it, no? But the stars always seem to help, when really in doubt, no?
A. GOT for that thrones game? Never even looked at it. Could use some cultural input updating. With an emphasis on DATING.
That is what I do every September grin
Hello, im actually tired of the long days with sun it`s nice with shorter days also. i can walk around early in the evening and everything is not in the wiev, im not paranoid
I thought up there in the North you also have long winter days, PF. Best of both worlds.
Yes i fell like it`s more of an intro season, maybe. but at the end of the winter/season i miss the birds... i mean those who only think of eatinglaugh
For me summer-atumn is more like a state of mind
Civilisation was built on moaning about the weather, there's a thoughtfulness to drizzle unmatched by the tropical centre.
I moan about the weather around 8 months of the year. Summer months are so unbearable at times. June, July and August are the worst but September is still in the 90's. I moan when I go over to England and stay with my family. All that rain and dismal weather. Then I moan again when I go to America for Christmas (for a couple of months) as it's bloody cold. Christmas 2017 was the worst. It was -16C in South New Jersey and the skin on my face peeled lol......I had to book an early flight back as I couldn't stand it anymore. I needed to get home for some warmth and sun. Having said that, we still wear boots, leggings, thick coats and jumpers here where I live in winter but only from January to the end of March. I only use a mobile gas heater in the winter months and my gas bottle lasts me for 2 winters so it costs me 16 euros every 2 years. I'm not complaining grin
Women bemoaning how they moan. Don't get the juices a flowing, madam.
After the exhausting summer, I'm hardly waiting for a few days long and easy September rain.
Yes, BA, and you live in a lovely place to enjoy it.
Its nice i like atumn
you know what you gonna get ... i say to me. =) Summer at my place is overrated ... i would enjoyed to see autumn from your perspective, i fell safe in autumn. nature rest i say to my self ...
I think the dog days of summer are over. I see the weather in that region should come to a cold snap. But there is always a Indian summer. We have had a few ice storms in the east before all the leaves have fallen, makes for a mess when that happens.sleep
