What is the crime rate like is it low with such harsh rules there ?
But as you say, you don't have a choice, so your positive attitude is great
But i have just finished watching a frontline documentary on Saudi arabia, it was more about MBS and the harsh rules he imposes.. the 2030 plan he has for Saudi and the corruption there..

But there is oppression in other countries to but they seem to be able to hide from the world a little bit better, like lets say France.. the yellow vest protest is coming up to a year since they started protesting, and still no result for the people of France.. why not much media coverage..
