Democrats quickly condemned his statements. Pelosi said, "It's clear that Trump wants to be impeached because he's not good at being president. Well, we're going to show him a thing or two by forcing him to stay in the White House and finish out his term."
"And Joker is alt-right propaganda," she said, falling for Trump's ploy to make Dems condemn one of the most successful, beloved films of the year.
One pundit on CNN suggested that Trump is supporting impeachment at the request of Putin or the guy from Ukraine or "whichever conspiracy thing we're pushing this month, I forget."
At publishing time, Democrats had also withdrawn from the 2020 race to teach Trump a lesson.

It might become more far reaching & "truth with evidence" might be gained on a number of issues & folks 'Crats would prefer to keep protected.
It may be presumed that the presiding Chief Justice would give rather broad latitude to what would be allowed ... so "the nation would get it's chance to gain real truth with evidence".
The plot thickens!
Simply upholding their oaths, the laws, and fully working for the country first with common sense reasoning, would have averted most of the many messes now.
The unavoidable messes would have been much easier to deal with for every one.
This may be the only real chance at exposing certain people and party lines. No matter what happens, I think it should be taken.
The demonrat destruction has to stop. They need to be exposed for all of their double, triple, and self serving corrupt standards. Maybe some of those self professed republicans will go down with their ships too.

In SOME(!) respects, it may be argued The Don governs similarly to what might be expected of a moderate/middle of the road 'Crat - notably on economic issues.
He gored Hildy's ox in the Rust Belt States by appealing to neglected Blue Collar voters - a reliable 'Crat base dating to the late 1800s.
