Time

If you don't have the time to make a friend of the person you are talking to, then how can you get to know them well enough to live with them?

Some people have had success at just jumping or being pushed into a relationship then becoming friends. My grandparents were like that. But, they also taught me that you have to take the time now.

You can talk for months on the internet but, you never really know who you are talking to until you meet that person and talk to them where you can see their face. The face and eyes tell alot when someone is talking. You can see if you can trust them to begin with and the rest comes along as time goes by.

I am 48 years old and know I will not live forever. But, I will take the time to be friends with someone if they have the time. I have had my share of jumping into relationships and have found them to be exciting at first but, hard to live with in the end.

I hate to live alone. That makes it so much harder to be alone and be patient. But, I look back on my past and remember why I am taking the time today to make my tomorrows much better.

I'd love to come home to a house that has someone waiting for me. I'd love to be home cooking for the special someone to come home to. Someone I can talk to, someone I can play with, someone who won't bow down to me or have me bow down to them. Someone who is equal to me as I am to them.

They do not have to be perfect. Even I couldn't handle that. But, to be thoughtful of someone feelings, caring whether they feel good or not, would be nice.

To see someone's eyes light up as you walk through the door, to see a smile meant for no one but you......those would be nice to see and to give.

Love is not dead, just waiting around some corner for you to find.
