Even In The City
Even in the city there is life. If you sit outside late at night when everyone has settled in for the night you can watch the fireflies dance on the darkness. Mingling with others creating a light show that is original and never repeated. The music that goes with this light show is the crickets singing in the grass and the frogs bringing up the background. It is hypnotic. The moon gives the stage show a glow that a man made object could never do.If you close your eyes and let yourself be carried away with the setting you can escape the city noises....these sounds of nature can override the noise and take you to a place of calm. When I return from this nature's serenade I am relaxed and can sleep a good night's sleep....
