Become an organ donor age is not an issue

How can older adults support organ donation?
Nearly 106,000 people are waiting for a transplant; a name is added to the waiting list every nine minutes. Not everyone is able to be an organ donor, even if they register, but registering is the first big step. To ensure you have First Person Authorization, register with your state or add “organ donor” during your next driver’s license renewal.

Organs that can be transplanted are the heart, kidneys, liver, lungs, pancreas and intestines.
The skin, bone tissue (including tendons and cartilage), eye tissue, heart valves and blood vessels are transplantable forms of tissue.

Wow that is a lot that can be used

Not sure if any of my organs are of any use giggle

Hi Jenny wave
Hi mimi, that list is long so I am sure you have body parts that are needed and can save the lives of others.
I found out that older people can now also donate blood.
Good to see you again. ..........hug
