I'm so sorry to hear this. I recently went through something similar. All you can do is remember those eyes, those purrs and and the love they DID give you for the time you shared together.

Many don't see a cat or dog as anything other than a 'pet', but they are an integral member of the family and, often, youspend more time with THEM, and share more secrets, than you EVER do with a partner or kids.

My sympathies.

awwwwwwww....so sorry...i rescue animals, puppies and have lost a couple over the last couple of months, still cry, alot, i always question how much longer can i do this, especially when we lose some, cuz totally love them all.....so i am so sorry, although these words may seem empty to you rite now, i believe he or she, is playing, running around, chasing birds, playing in long grass and chasing their tail and purring.....and she or he was very lucky to have an angel like you to care about them....hug

I'm really sorry to hear about your cat. It's terrible to lose such an important, furry part of your family and life - especially so suddenly in an accident like that - I lost my dog to a car aswell two weeks ago myself. Here's a really nice poem about losing a pet - its beautiful - and you can order a copy of it with their picture on it (haha I dont work for the website - its just really nice and has helped many through tough times like these) - and you can also set up a memorial there on that website for your pet
