I Am A Victim...
We here in America have all kinds of “rights” and “privileges” to complain about. And when we feel that we have been violated we immediately take on the persona of a “victim”…I got to wondering today if I might be a victim of something or other??? And the following items came to mind…
I am a victim of good friends, good health, good neighbors (both at home and abroad), good food (and my figure shows this..), a nice house, good old trucks, a lazy but faithful old dog, crazy relatives, spoiled children and grandchildren, more opportunities than I can count, freedom to go anywhere, anytime, and with anyone that I choose to… and I think that is the problem… I don’t really have anything to complain about. Oh, I suppose I could come up with something to ruin my day if I tried hard enough, but then again I am retired and I don’t really have to do anything if I don’t feel like it… Boy, this being a victim is more work than I thought. On second thought, to heck with it… I’m too busy loafing to be bothered with more work, and this victim stuff appears to be more work than it is worth!

Where do you find the time? I bearly have the time to stop and tie my shoe laces. Life is good though..
