Only Two Kinds of People...
There are only two kinds of people in the world today… they are either part of the problem or part of the solution. Please think about this for a moment before choosing which one you will be.You are either helping people solve their problems or you are part of the problem. And even if you just stand there and do nothing, you are still on one side of this discussion or the other.
Please let me explain… I went into a state office today and met a person that promptly became part of the problem. For the entire conversation all she did was to tell me all of the reasons why she couldn’t and/or wouldn’t help me with my particular problem. What she didn’t know was that I had been in this very office only two days ago and, while she was out to lunch, her counterpart had helped me with a much more difficult problem with no muss and no fuss. She had an answer for every contingency and had taken all of the stress out of a very serious situation. And now, unfortunately for me, I had the extreme misfortune of meeting her co-worker…(miss poopy-pants…) I can only pray to the Lord above that I am never a part of the problem…(because these people stink…)

Here's one possible way your story could have played out....
> "Hi! Welcome to whatever it is we do here!"
> "Yes... I need help with..."
> "Let me save you some time. Look, I just keep the seat warm. If you actually need something, your best move is to come back when ____ is working. She's the only one who does anything here."
> "Yes, but..."
> "You heard me."
