Cultured and Arty......me???????

I like independent films and French Parisian music, but this week the culture went right out of the window as I thoroughly enjoyed watching "Paul"...the latest Simon Pegg film, about two sci-fi nerds from the uk who take a road trip across America with the intention of visiting all the UFO related sites. transport They do not however, bank on picking up a real alien called Paul who is on the run from the Men in Black!!! cool laugh Great fun!

And this weekend lovefilm.com sent me the kid's animation "Surf's Up"..... loved it!! In another life, I would definitely love to be a surfer!! cool peace laugh

This very cultured and high brow weekend was also enhanced by a very rare ironing session wow , accompanied by the sounds of my new (well.....2nd hand e-bay) Michael Jackson cd!! It's really hard to do the ironing when you just want to get down and boogie!! dancing dancing roll eyes doh laugh I have loved MJ's songs since I was a kid, but although I have a couple of tunes on my mobile (which I use as an ipod listen to music )) I have never had a cd. As with all pop music, I think I am very definitely stuck in the 80's, and this "Greatest Hits" album has all my favourites on it.... Billie Jean, The Way You Make Me Feel, Black or White etc

I don't have one of the "Wii" thingies, but I am now a little jealous because it would be so cool (no other word for it...sorry!) to learn some of MJ's dances!! elephant elephant laugh
