Do CS blogs and the forums help people to....
get to know each others charachters better?I wonder if any people started like each-other from blogs and got together.
And i think forums and blogs build up some trust beetwen folks.

I do not share the same opinion.... unfortunately, more I communicate to men in threads and in blogs... more I consider them being ... mates, folks ... especially I appreciate those with sense of humour.
In fact, publicity does not help love ... here or anywhere else.
Affection is always hand in hand with privacy
but.. what about cars? great topic
we need to be mysterious, special and let partner discover all inside and outside us... it needs privacy because in this process even 3 people involved is huge crowd

Rummy. To take it one step further;
do you, as a guy at cs forums/blogs, and a well established oldtimer by now if i may add, -feel that there are tonns of good guys that are ready to be picked, and you wonder as me: "what is wrong with the eye-sight of these woman.." (?)
Why are ppl not just teaming up here faster?

I bet u agree distance is the only real problem here.
Rummy, sometimes its best to leave things in the imagination, rejection is not one of my strong points...

Agree Paul. I been at a norw date site a littlebit but maaaan did i miss the blogs! After 5min there i have a tendency to be 5h here.
forum and blogs are great for socializing but love ... is so delicate matter, should be kept and protected in privacy

Imagine all the ppl close to despair laying around halfdead but out of our reach to help them back into the hopefull road of blogs, Jana. Maybe we should reach out a hand to them.
I did it once, 2 out of 8 came here. That is good result of 7min work.
And i did only contact the penpals this time. Imagine you, me, Aswina and Rummy reached out and invited 100 each...

Paul, I walked the same way as you before coming to the blogs. I should have written: "both of the possibilities" meaning blogs/forums and the rest area of CS. More specifically, I use the Rate Photos option to see more pics of men. Sometimes the Search option. And blogs and forums, mostly for finding "friends" but who knows?
Someone said that CS is not a "pure" dating site and it's probably true if you need just a quick check out of profiles without any distracting stuff. If you are into creating friendship first and into a slower pace then CS is nice... Many people use other ("pure") dating sites along with CS.
Thats not fair! Here have a glass with me:
