Looking for single girlfriends to hang out with
I know this may be a strange post but since I haven't been able to find any dates online I thought I should be looking for single girl friends my age to hang out with and go places in my area.I am 50, Red Bank area, looking to go to single events, clubs, dancing etc. Tired of waiting for someone on these sites to ask me for a date.
Friends in their mid 30's to mid 50's in the Monmouth county area, or Ocean.
If anyone has any suggestions how to find friends open to that too. There are meeting groups that go to different places but again who wants to go alone to meet up groups especially traveling alone only to find that many of the people know each other and usually there are clicks that form.

I know exactly what you mean and dealt with it when I moved to Brussels. I placed an add in the personals section of an expat online magazine I was reading, asking for girls who were tired of dating plonkers, to contact me
Got lots of responses and I actually organized quite a few ladies nights out. I made some really good friends this way.
Good luck and go for it, I'd say.
Fortunately here in Jakarta there are a bunch of us and every now and then we like to hang out over drinks, meals or coffee.
