life is not waiting
As we know life is unpredictable & full of surprises. Sometimes we can expect the unexpected. But let's say for some reason we knew when our last day will be. Don't let this get you down tho.Just think....you wake up & realize...hey today is the first day of the rest of my life. What would you do? Now I'm talking about "anything" especially those things you made excuses for not attempting to try. Be it what someone told you or what you told yourself.
I know for myself I didn't go for something because of what someone told me. I also made excuses for not trying something because I didn't believe I could. The excuses started piling up so I didn't .....
EXCUSES BEGONE
WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
THERE'S NO EXCUSE TO NOT TRY
TRY & FIND OUT
WHAT'S HOLDING YOU BACK?

And to this day five years later I am still living it - travelling and living in Asia.
As a very wise Jehi Knight once said. "There is no can, or can not. There is only do, or do not."
*travel the world
*become a flight attendent
*learn to swim & surf
*lean to snowboard
*have no fears or regrets
*volunteer at VSU at police
*build my dream home
Those are some things I would do
I wake every day thinking this is my first,,I have experienced so many new things,,We only have one life to live I think one of biggest achievements so far was flying a micro-lite,,
Also there is this one....
YOU CAN'T ... OR YOU WON'T ...?
That is true...life can be hard at times but its our attitude that can make us or break us.
I guess its reflective Friday I'm just been thinking a lot lately & at same time I'm learning to embrace life more. And thank you!
I'm glad you did that. Its true that hard work eventually pays off. And I like the way you think! Everyone we encounter helps us learn more about ourselves. Experience is the best teacher. Thanks!
Yes its a wonderful luxury to have dreams & wishes & carry them out if possible. And its true that not everyone has the opportunity to do so....but they can daydream about it even if its within their hearts.
Wow I didn't know that about you...good for you . I'm sure it wasn't easy decision but in the end you did what you wanted. You went for it.
Part of the fun of the blogs... for the regulars here... we get to know each other a bit better with each exchange. I enjoy this part of it...
That's why I like mornings and sunshines because for me it offers new day, new experiences and new challenges. I am trying to do things to the best of my ability may it be personally or professionally.
I know I have too much to be learned and to experienced in life. I am open to all of that and try to handle things the natural way.
Life can never be perfect. None is.
Life is too beautiful. Let's enjoy every minute of it.
That is so true. That's what I enjoy too. I'm making discoveries everyday!
I like what you wrote! All we can do is be the best we can in all ways. Our best is good enough. Each day is a clean slate greeted b the sun smiling down at us. Even if its hiding its still there. :cheering
Life isn't perfect but it does have its wonderful imperfections. Life is always beautiful even amongst the negatives....if we choose to see it. We should embrace the imperfections & appreciate the beauty.
Yes we are on borrowed time & ecah day has its problems but it also has its joys. We don't know when its our last day but we should live our life one day at a time. We only have one life so we should make the most of it in any way we can. Even little things make a difference.
I'm sure your daughter knows how much you love her...& she loves you. We don't always show our love but we can feel it...in our heart. There are many ways to show it. ...some express in diffefrent ways.
I'm sorry for the loss of your husband & one day when its time you'll both be reunited together. Your two souls together. Its not easy losing someone you love. Just enjoy time with your daughter...I'm sure you are. And cherish the memories of your dearly departed husband.
