SOME ADVICE FOR THE GROWING CHRISTIAN

John 16:7 Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. 8 When He comes, He will convict the World of guilt in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me.


This verse kinda hits the nail on the head for us all. And reason I said advice is eliminating the legalist who throw demands and fear tactic's our way. I think the way we present things get a better response than demanding. This verse takes me out of the preacher status to handing you wisdom you may have or not be given by the Holy Spirit. Facts are Christianity is a learning process through the Holy Spirit alone and anything else is sand people total sand.



I am going to just give my personal up's and down's in my walk with Christ that worked and didn't work for me so maybe the things that work for me can work for you. Now with me there was a issue still going issue towards some things I can't talk about. But during this time I tried to take all that negative and make it a positive. Now there are different mind sets Christians carry and there are some mind sets that we need to have to cope with conviction and even sin we have to deal with in life.


One thing I did and it worked was just let go of self righteousness and just allowed the conviction of the Holy Spirit be my guide not men. I mean I feel free from judgements from people and I feel free from being worried or even scared God doesn't love me based on just knowing what to pray for. Having the Lord flood your life with His Love ((Spirit)) eliminates all the judgements of men saying you are not good enough etc. This also eliminates us having to take life advice from people from other walks of life being blind to our reality.



You can't tell someone in a dangerous neighborhood to preach to dangerous people and put them in harms way doing it. I don't want to be responsible for someone getting hurt or killed based on radical demands based on me assuming God will protect them. I understand God gives us common sense and expects us to use it. Understand this in the days of Peter, Paul and the disciples Government was against them preaching, they had to risk their lives just to say they where a Christian. Today we are free in a free Country and the Internet being World wide can use this tool to spread the Gospel without putting ourselves in danger.


I say follow your gut.......... I am not demanding anyone risk their life expecting God to supernaturally save you from danger. Fact's are Peter walked with God as a man and was murdered for just preaching. People who constantly preach this are raising propaganda for money making purposes. These people the atheist will make it to heaven before them. Using the name of Christ for con artistry and robbing good people will separate anyone from His love and that act is out of Grace and I am sure you know the rest
