Dad's Day
On Fathers Day I had lunch with my twins. They ended up giving me a gift card and I told them for the umpteenth time not to get me anything. My gift is them. And they're a special gift from God.I finally used it yesterday. I needed a pair of jeans so I went to the store that would redeem the card and I found out the value of the card. It was for $25 and I was happy with that. I'm thinking it's a nice pair of jeans and maybe a name brand on sale. Something sensible and not "trendy"!
I found some jeans on sale for $7.99!!! Then bought some car maintenance stuff and they were all on sale too. I was able to buy a gallon of wash soap, a bottle of interior sealer for the dashboard and a can of cleaning wipes and I had 69 cents left!
Happy Fathers Day to me (and of course I have great kids and G-kids so it's Dads Day for me everyday) and all the nice gifts I got!!!!!

Shay: I am so happy the 2 of you, you know who, got onto my page and saw my loves. It just makes me happy that I was able to share that with the 2 of you. When I first joined CS I saw you 2 girls and I knew that if we were all in the same place we would be real good friends. It's just something you feel in your heart and I feel it! And that goes for several other people on CS, too.!
