The Tap .. fun for everyone
When I came to this site, I was disappointed at how slow the threads and blogs were. It was as if no one was really posting regularly. There seemed to be a lack of interest.I have started a thread similar to one that I had on another single site about a virtual bar and grill.
It's a place to meet your friends, and like CHEERS, everyone knows your name. We serve drinks, food, play music, and everyone gets their own personalized bar stool.
I am hoping many people will visit and experience the "magic" of the Tap. Were always open and we can get your ANYTHING you want to eat or drink (because we're magical).
So, come join us and let's have some fun on here. Frankenstein has generously offered to be hired as a bartender, but I need waitresses, and cooks, etc.
Anyone wanting a job at the Tap..just let me know. I can't run the place all alone! Come join us!!!!

I can be the cook since I'm good at cooking
In the real world "Taps" actually reminds me of a bar we used to inhabit called The Shortstop" when I worked for the Los Angeles Dodgers many years ago. Rumor had it at the time that the owner, a columnist by the name of Bob Hunter for the long gone Herald Examiner, named it after Maury Wills the great shortstop for the Dodgers.
The old time ball players, when ball players were REAL ball players, used to stop in regularly. They joined the writers and the office staff and the game time personnel. Rounds of drinks were bought and everything that happened at The Shortstop stayed at The Shortstop. So don't ask me about the old time players. Come to think of it. Many of you won't even know Maury Wills from Zoilo Versailles. So those stories are safe! It was quite a group.
So lets make some new stories at The Tap!
I never figured you for a quitter Frank. And, now we even have a cook and waitress. Go post in the Tap...keep it going, I have.
We will be having a costume party for Halloween. It should be a LOT of fun for everyone!!!
We need both a cook and waitress. So, you can do both until we find more help. Just do the job with the most demands.

To my knowledge she has never attacked anyone in any blog or in person.
I got to know her first by reading her blogs and comments and that was what impressed me about her, was that she never slammed anyone, even if they were being rude to her.
When I first read what she wrote I was taken back too,(because it really didnt sound like something she would say) but then I read all the comments in the order they were posted.
Anyone who takes the time to get to know her will see she is a very sweet person, it's easy to be misunderstood especially when English isnt your primary language.

Yes she is my girl and of course I feel an inherent need to defend her at all times, but if I thought she was in the wrong I would politely tell her.
