Speaking our Minds

When I was younger, I thought it was necessary to speak up when I knew someone was wrong. I simply HAD to correct them and thought that's what I was supposed to do.

I hadn't developed the "just blow it off and do what you need to anyway" technique. laugh For some reason, I just HAD to speak my mind.

Of course, as we grow and mature, we learn to just let things pass without the need for an argument.

Mark Twain (who I find the greatest quotes by) said, "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt."

BUT, for the purpose of an interesting and fun blog. I want to invite you to SPEAK WHAT'S ON YOUR MIND!!! This doesn't include bashing other members by name, but you can certainly b*tch about them if you want.

Soooooooo.....

SPEAK WHAT'S ON YOUR MIND!!!!

I always fall in trouble when I speak up but who cares
Hi Lively,
to speak what's on my mind... does this site really work? If only there's a gallery of people who met here and made it and shares their stories, maybe it'd be interesting to read. Have a great Sunday to you and everyone handshake

Hi Lively_Waters, wave welcome to CS Blogs and enjoy your stay.. cswelcome

Now I will speak my mind.
"I really like people with good heart"
sarasvathy "does this site really work?"

I believe you will get out of it what you put into it. There's so much to do with all the quizzes, blogs, threads, rating photos (if you like him, give him a 10 and you will show up when he looks laugh). Just spend a little time and participate in stuff...it will give you exposure.

I'm new to the site myself, but I know that single sites CAN work, but as with most things, there's no guarantees. My advise is to just have fun with it, and you never know who might come along.

"First"...thank you for the kind welcome. I'm enjoying all the nice people I have met so far! teddybear

This guy says he has the HOTS for you First...watcha think?

I am thinking how sad it is when a Christian person only spreads the message of fear and condemnation as a way of sharing the gospel.

This morning I saw a blog just seething with harsh words and condemnation. The OP's response to all posters was even more hateful.

The message of Jesus Christ should begin with gentleness and love. There is actually no difference in introducing Christ to someone, and other people. By that, I mean that if someone introduced me to someone who meant to punish, judge, and condemn me, I certainly would NOT want to EVER get to know that person. So, is it true with our Lord.

I have never known God as a vengeful presence, only in my life to keep me feeling inadequate and fearful. And, I think it is VERY sad that some people present Him in that light. The 'hell and brimstone' approach is just plain WRONG in my opinion, and I don't believe a loving father intends for us to portray Him that way.

I just keep wondering where the message of forgiveness and redemption we receive from salvation, has gotten lost in the translation??!!!!

I just know I wouldn't want to serve a Lord like the one portrayed by certain members in their blogs. What a shame for them!!! scold
hello, Lively... i prefer healthy discussion without ego-purpose... Religions were made not to be debated or judged, but create harmony and support life-balance...hug bouquet grin
OH! And Hugger...you have a lovely family! Now make them get off the best so you can get some sleep! laugh

Frank...I love all the pictures of your family. I'm so glad for you that you have such love and closeness with your pets. They sure bring us a sense of comfort and companionship!
