Personally I doubht it as normally the worst smelling flowers attrackt most inseckts...
the flower is a place of refuge for the insect,it can hide in there.just the same as a mans organ might need to find a hiding place at least untill it snows[also known as the flower]but personally i think its more like a messy jungle full of mud and slim.
as for the smell we wont go into that at least for now.
