My Thanksgiving Day!

I went to my sisters home yesterday for feasting, visiting, showing love and watching football. The dinner and all the food was provided by my nephew and his beautiful Filipino wife and accompanied by his 2 gorgeous children, Macaela and Lorenzo!

My nephew is always late for everything. He promised to be there at 12 noon to prepare dinner and he was late again. But it was alright because my sisters and I gabbed and while they scooted around the kitchen doing "girl stuff" we snacked on nuts, drank some juices and had a good time doing absolutely nothing.

The football games were great as always and I don't even remember who won because I like to observe sports anyway without getting stupidly fanatic. I also watched some basketball and the LA Clippers, a continually bad team but this year championship calibre, played the Oklahoma City team and it was really exciting all the way down to the end!

Before you knew it my always late nephew showed up. We continued gabbing and he and his family joined in without skipping a beat. I saw his kids for the first time in about 2 years. They have grown into mature and very wise children and I completely enjoyed them.

Before you knew it dinner was ready and it was gourmet calibre with our niece doing an excellent job in every dish she prepared. Their daughter prepared a little "pre dinner program" with song and prayer and I was completely taken in by her sweetness and presentation.

The kids and I spoke after dinner and Macaela showed me her little "i pad" gizmo and I saw a dance routine she choreographed with some friends for a school program. It was totally amazing and as soon as she downloads it I will upload so everyone can see what a professional job she did in her routine!

I pray everyone had as good a get together as I did!

Hi beautiful Life!

And thank you! I hope whatever you did was just as good as mine because you deserve good things because of the love you spread!!!!!
Life!

I love that name! Edillalo! That is hilarious! I am laughing my guts out because it's sweet and so funny! My full name is Edward and in Spanish (look at the last 4 letters in my new nickname you have given me) the nickname for Edward is "Lalo". That comes from the spanish pronunciation "Eduardo".

Isn't that double funny? I love it. I have dessert this morning from my pal, Life! The dessert of laughter and love!

Thanks so much!

Hi Cabin girl!

Thanks for commenting! I have forgotten about the wishbone and haven't done that in years! When we were kids we used to fight over it. Thanks for the reminder of how much fun we had and I say that sincerely because we were silly kids.

Maybe the kids competed for it. I don't know!
