Innocence Lost

Happy laughing faces
changed forever
in the blink of an eye
some to never see again
and some to never see life the same again.

Many heavy hearts
tears wept
families torn apart
......
may healing come to those that are left.

We struggle to understand ....
to gain a glimmer of the answer to why?
We will probably never understand, but
what can we do to make a difference?
Therein lies the key.
