Would you marry a man, you don't love, don't want just to have the possibility to live somewhere else as you are now? How many men/women do that! Right or wrong?

and if you have to let yourself be loved by someone you dont like , just to move to another country , for the better and for your childrens lives and there families future , go and do it ...you can always ditch him and get the best man after you have got there ...banana banana

It's easy for us in our comfortable lives in rich first world countries to automatically say no!,but take all that away and be left with life in a deperately poor life with no hope,or not much hope of your life ever being any better then living in poverty and most peoples answers would change.

Would I want this? No. If my life had been different in a different country and living in extreme poverty then my answer would probably be different.

MaryRachelle, you make an excellent point, but the OP didn't specify where and in what circumstances we were currently living. I think most people took it to mean given current circumstances.

If you don't love this person let alone want them, then why would you marry them? If you want to move somewhere else, then just move. You don't need to get married to move somewhere else.

Actually to just move somewhere where you want to be is not that easy. I have spent my working career in the cold north, and I'm tired of it. I would love to move to the southern United States, get a job and spend my last remaining working career down there. Unless you marry an American, you have no chance. So if anyone one of you ladies want to read my profile, and decide that "hey this guy sounds like a really nice guy" please write me. I don't think I would ever want to marry someone I wasn't in love with just to get there, but I would marry someone I was in love with to be with her there.
