For my New Year's resolution...

Single will now be my desired way of life.

Since my divorce 4 years ago...I've been through a deadend relationship of 2 years...2 years of lies, secrets, etc etc
...and since then, I've had pointless dates consisting of..
Men who talk to themselves..
Those that have depression issues..
Clingers...
Those that pretend to take interest and then disappear...
Those looking for just a "hookup" on a first date...
The list goes on.....

I'm done.

I am single because I choose to be. I am kind to others because it's who I am. I have too much going on in my life to be bothered with such nonsense. Happiness is from within, not from another.

No worries z, you didn't misread....wasn't seeing him for that long, maybe a few weeks. And I was quite content....until the reality had set in and little hints of false grandeur were popping up out of nowhere. So basically it was all a facade....trying too hard to impress and making himself out to be someone he truly wasn't. I never wanted perfection, I just wanted someone who could be honest from the getgo and be themselves from day one. Was just the last straw in this pointless dating ritual.
