Shrines for happiness

For two straight days, went to 2 different shrines dedicated to happiness. One is the Ohatsu Tenjin Shrine in Osaka and the other is the Tenmangu shrine in Yamaguchi Ken. When I decided to see the shrines, I never know its English meaning. When I get there, I got to read some English translation. Maybe then it's my turn to be happy now. No pun intended. I just look at interesting places near the train stations as my main purpose of travel was the enlistment ceremony of my son. I never realize that those places were intended for people looking for happiness. So, could this really be called fate?

Yes tatami san, for all intent and purposes, a silent place for peace, happiness, remembrance and spiritual growth. Many places like that have different names: Shrine, Temple, Synagogue, Chapel, Church, Tabernacle.
@Cuddling, thanks for dropping by and for being the first. Iam always amazed with Japan after all these years. Still learning a lot and it's quite fun and funny.bouquet

This sounds wonderful. Such places do we have natural in Norway, because out county is much longer and do have lesser people living in it then you do in Japan. I myself just put on my hiking shoes and I can walk into the woods to find my happiness. And I do find it every time, the green lounge I have right beside where I live gives me tons of happiness. So glad to hear you have such places in japan too, use them often and enjoy them, they are there for you.hug teddybear bouquet

THE BODY IS A TEMPLE ADORE IT rolling on the floor laughing
but seriously there is nothing like a temple or church or any natural place of peace or solitude ,i personally love woods forests watching the sea crashing against the shore or very long grass blowing in the wind the flames of a fire these are all places i enjoy for peace and happiness, glad you enjoyed your time at these beautiful temples
