Orang bule masuk kampung - A white man arrives in
I live in a tiny town where you never see white people roam around. And once a white person arrives in our town, he or she becomes the hightlight of the day.I am having 2 guests from Portugal now in my little town. One of them is here on voluntary work plus traveling at the same time. Another one just arrived last night and he will be here for 2 days. So you can all imagine 2 orang bule (as they call them here) meaning white being asked to take pictures, curious little kids wanting to chit chat and take pictures with them - not only the kids, even the adults go a bit crazy....
We met through a website for voluntary workers and another surfing site for travellers.
So what is our plan for tonight - we are going to have a spagetti night, prepared by them with a few beers and wine to go with it and of course music to lightened up the night. And I'm looking forward to it.......
I am posting a picture of one of them here being surrounded by our beautiful single teachers....
For my Cs blogger friends - who knows!!! maybe one day if travel to North Sumatera, Medan, swing by our town...we will treat you like a king or queen......

No, I don't work for the tourist board. I love meeting friends from abroad and even housing them once they come by our tiny town.
